    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Production Technician is a mid-level position for our Thermal Spray operation.  Safe operation of specific equipment, material(s) or processes in order to produce quality coated components at required rate is a core function. Technicians will be responsible operating production equipment and adhering to SOPs, Quality Control Regulations, and Safety Regulations. </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Job Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Operate and monitor automated production equipment to ensure efficient and consistent manufacturing output.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Perform routine machine setups, adjustments, and changeovers to maintain production schedules and product specifications.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Conduct in-process quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet established standards and specifications.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Identify and address production issues or equipment abnormalities, escalating concerns to maintenance or supervision as needed.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and machine guarding protocols to maintain a safe work environment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Maintain accurate production and quality documentation, including batch records and inspection logs.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Perform basic preventative maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure reliable operation.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and production teams to resolve operational issues and maintain production flow.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety and quality standards.</span></li>\n<li><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Experience:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">High school diploma or GED required.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Demonstrated ability to stay organized and maintain accurate production or quality records.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to enter data and navigate production or quality tracking systems.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment and follow established procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Forklift certification required or ability to obtain certification through company-provided training.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Location:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Bowling Green, Ohio</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Working Conditions and Physical Demands:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ability to sit, stand, or walk short distances for duration of shift.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Will climb stairs on an occasional basis.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Will lift up to 50 pounds.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Must be able to visually inspect machines.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Required to use hand to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel object repetitively on a frequent basis.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Must be able to comply with safety standards and procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including, but not limited to; steel toed shoes, cut resistant gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection).</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Please note: Potential candidates will meet education and experience requirements provided in this position and excel in completing the listed responsibilities for this role.  All candidates receiving an offer of employment must successfully complete a background check, pre-employment drug screen, and any other test that may be required for the role.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">About Vital:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Vital Materials is a global materials technology and equipment company.
