This position plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for general housekeeping throughout the facility, with a strong emphasis on <strong>cleaning and maintaining a Process environment free of debris generated during the manufacturing process.&nbsp;</strong>This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who takes pride in their work, values workplace safety, and enjoys contributing to a team-focused manufacturing environment.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform daily cleaning of production areas, focusing on the removal of debris generated during the manufacturing process, from floors, equipment surfaces, workstations, and common areas</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Sweep, vacuum, mop, and maintain cleanliness throughout the manufacturing facility.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Empty trash and recycling containers and properly dispose of waste materials.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, break rooms, and office areas.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain hallways, entrances, conference rooms, and other common areas in a clean and presentable condition.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist with cleaning production equipment and surrounding work areas as directed.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, paper products, and sanitation materials.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support facility-wide housekeeping initiatives to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply shortages to management.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist with special cleaning projects and facility upkeep as needed.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain a professional attitude and work effectively with employees throughout the organization.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">High school diploma or equivalent preferred.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Prior industrial, manufacturing, janitorial, or custodial experience preferred.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Reliable attendance and punctuality required.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&middot;&nbsp;Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&middot;&nbsp;Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&middot;&nbsp;Ability to work in a manufacturing environment where carbon dust, noise, and varying temperatures may be present.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&middot;&nbsp;Must be able to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and respiratory protection when required</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Located within an easy commute in tri-state area (New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut).
