Applies well developed knowledge of health, safety, social and environmental practices to identify and control workplace risks, support operational teams, and strengthen the company’s overall HSSE performance. The role contributes directly to maintaining regulatory compliance, fostering a proactive safety culture, and ensuring operational integrity through field engagement, incident prevention, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.</p>\n<p>Supports the development, implementation, and continual improvement of the company’s Operational Management System (OMS). This includes helping translate corporate HSSE expectations into practical field level processes, supporting the maintenance and rollout of HSSE procedures, monitoring compliance with OMS requirements, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure that controls, documentation, and performance measures align with organizational standards.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><u>Responsibilities:</u></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide HSE support to operational teams across drilling, completions, and production activities in compliance with federal, state, and internal company requirements.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Support the deployment and consistent execution of company HSE programs, including Life Saving Rules and annual safety initiatives, ensuring alignment between corporate leadership and field operations.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Conduct site inspections, hazard assessments, and behavioral observations; identify improvement opportunities and drive corrective actions to closure.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Lead and participate in incident investigations using root cause analysis methodologies; oversee reporting, corrective action tracking, and lessons learned communication across the organization.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Monitor and analyze incident and near-miss trends; present findings and recommendations to field and corporate leadership.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Develop and deliver safety training, orientations, and toolbox talks for field crews and contractors to strengthen safety culture and field engagement.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Draft, review, and maintain HSSE procedures and field-level work instructions in alignment with regulatory requirements and OMS standards.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Support high-risk work activities and permit-to-work processes including JHAs, hot work, confined space entry, and lockout/tagout.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Coordinate simultaneous operations (SIMOPS) planning and execution to ensure hazards are identified, communicated, and controlled across overlapping work activities.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Monitor applicable federal and state regulations (OSHA, EPA, NDDEQ) and ensure ongoing operational compliance.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Support preparation and submission of regulatory reports and permits including Tier II, SPCC, and OSHA 300/300A logs.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Support regulatory agency inspections and audits and facilitate responses to findings.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Maintain and update SPCC plans; coordinate spill response, containment, remediation, and regulatory reporting.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Oversee contractor HSE compliance including pre-qualification, pre-job safety meetings, training verification, and ongoing performance monitoring.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Coordinate emergency preparedness activities including drills, tabletop exercises, and equipment inspections.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Support implementation of the Operational Management System (OMS) by aligning field HSE activities with key elements including Risk Assessment, Operational Control, Documentation &amp; Communication, and Assurance &amp; Tracking.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><u>Required Skills:</u></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Understanding of Oil and Gas operations</li>\n <li>Proficient in Microsoft Suite&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><u>Required Experience:&nbsp;</u></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree</li>\n <li>Ability to work safely and supervise operations in high-risk environments.</li>\n <li>Requires 5 plus years of HSE experience encompassing both frontline and back‑office responsibilities, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.</li>\n <li>Experience in developing and monitoring management systems, specifically safety, quality or environmental management systems, preferred.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><u>Physical Demand and Work Environment&nbsp;</u></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Capable of working in outdoor conditions.</li>\n <li>Exposure to extreme weather conditions&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Must be physically able to climb stairs, operate valves and pumps and perform maintenance work.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time</li>\n <li>Possesses the physical ability to work extended hours (if needed)</li>\n <li>Travel up to 25% of the year domestically (1 week per month).&nbsp;
