    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\">The American Lung Association has an excellent opportunity for a <strong>Coordinator, Health Promotions.&nbsp;</strong>Working as a member of the <strong>Health Promotions</strong> department, you will join an outstanding group of professionals dedicated to our mission: to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease through research, education, and advocacy.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The Coordinator, Health Promotions will implement and evaluate lung health programs throughout Wisconsin; implement the SPARK Tobacco-Free College and University Program in Wisconsin. This position is 100% grant funded.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Location: Brookfield, Wisconsin</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The position is located at the American Lung Association&rsquo;s Brookfield, Wisconsin office and will be a hybrid of in-person and virtual work.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>SPARK:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work with the project manager to implement and evaluate the <em>SPARK&nbsp;</em>program (tobacco-free college and university program).</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist SPARK grantees in moving their campus towards a 100% tobacco-free campus policy.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Build, maintain and cultivate relationships with funders, facilitators, and community partners to encourage program delivery, sustainability and growth across Wisconsin.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Work with manager to coordinate all aspects of grant projects activities including trainings, presentations, education-focused health fairs, mini-grants, etc. and serve as lead for these activities.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Help to develop and effectively utilize timelines and work plans to ensure completion of program deliverables.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Complete quarterly reporting of grant activities.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Research and implement best practices for these programs within priority populations.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Explore opportunities to connect and enhance collaborations throughout the Lung Association</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collaborate with project director in growing American Lung Association programs within assigned territory.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide support for Wisconsin program and development events, such as Oxygen Gala, Climb for Clean Air, and other related activities.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Actively participate in coalitions and workgroups as requested by TPCP.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Participate in local, state, and national seminars and courses designed to increase skills and knowledge related to job requirements.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Participate on national American Lung Association program workgroups and committees as requested.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide support for annual report, awards, grants, and other activities as assigned.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Participate in and support community-related programs.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Complete other duties as assigned.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in public health or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Minimum two years of experience developing and implementing community awareness, education, and programs specifically related to areas of public health.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Prior experience in public health, community relations, public policy, and/or advocacy.&nbsp;<ul><li>Must be a self-starter with excellent communication skills both written and oral.</li></ul></li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and cooperatively in a team environment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must have a valid Driver&rsquo;s license and your own reliable transportation with the ability to travel within assigned area 10% of the time for meetings and conferences, as well as the flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends with some overnights required.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Able to work with minimum direct supervision, make decisions, and take initiative.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proven ability to cultivate and steward relationships across a diverse population.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Internet applications.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Consistent with its mission, the American Lung Association maintains a smoke-free workplace, all employees must abstain from use tobacco in any form, including vaping.&nbsp;</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Compensation:</strong> Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. The target hiring range for this position is between $43,000 and $47,000 per annum.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Benefits</strong>: The Lung Association offers a comprehensive benefits package including:&nbsp;</p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Paid Leave - 10 vacation days in the first year (15 days thereafter), 2 personal days and 15 sick days per year, as well as 12 company-paid holidays per year.
