The 3rd Shift Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the effectiveness of daily shop floor operations during the assigned shift. This role drives a safe work environment, promotes continuous improvement, ensures product quality, and supports operational efficiency while meeting customer expectations and production goals.. This role is located in <strong>Lima, Ohio </strong>and will be fully on-site. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Starting Pay: $32.00/hr - $42.00/hr</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 11:00PM - 7:00AM</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Pay Schedule: Weekly </strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>3rd Shift Production Supervisor Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain a safe working environment for all employees </li>\n <li>Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards </li>\n <li>Oversee daily shop floor operations and workflow </li>\n <li>Assign and manage employee work assignments </li>\n <li>Monitor production efficiency and sign off on production runs </li>\n <li>Ensure deadlines and production targets are met </li>\n <li>Support quality systems and compliance (ISO 9001 / QMS) </li>\n <li>Assist with corrective and preventative actions on nonconforming products </li>\n <li>Support inspection processes and automated quality systems </li>\n <li>Support/perform CNC and CMM programming </li>\n <li>Support Kardex storage system and shop organization (5S) </li>\n <li>Supervise, coach, and develop employees </li>\n <li>Train new and existing team members </li>\n <li>Act as a communication link between departments and leadership </li>\n <li>Report to Operations Manager and senior management </li>\n <li>Coordinate maintenance needs and request work orders </li>\n <li>Analyze production processes and generate reports </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>3rd Shift Production Supervisor Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong leadership and team management skills </li>\n <li>Problem-solving and decision-making ability </li>\n <li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills </li>\n <li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment </li>\n <li>Conflict resolution and employee relations skills </li>\n <li>Organizational and time management skills </li>\n <li>Continuous improvement mindset (Lean / 5S principles) </li>\n <li>Technical aptitude in manufacturing processes </li>\n <li>Working knowledge of QMS / ISO 9001 </li>\n <li>Experience with CMM programming and CNC programming </li>\n <li>Experience with corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) </li>\n <li>Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em> </em></p>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Wieland is an <strong>equal opportunity and affirmative action employer</strong>.
