TMH is the region's healthcare leader and top provider of advanced care with a 772-bed acute care hospital and the region's only:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Level II Trauma Center </li>\n <li>Primary Stroke Center </li>\n <li>Level III Neonatal Intensive Care </li>\n <li>Pediatric Intensive Care </li>\n <li>The most advanced cancer, heart and vascular, orthopedic & surgery programs in the Panhandle. </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Our system also includes a psychiatric hospital, multiple specialty care centers, six residency programs and more than 50 affiliated physician practices. </p>\n<h2>HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT</h2>\n<p><strong>Your Role: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensures patient-centered care and optimal patient outcomes through direct practice, clinical and professional leadership, expert coaching and guidance, consultation, collaboration, education, quality improvement initiatives, research skills an ethical decision-making. </li>\n <li>Conducts needs assessments, employs evidence-based educational methodologies, acts as a change agent to promote evidence-based practice, provides expert consultation to direct care staff, conducts orientation programs for new staff, evaluates initial and ongoing competency validation processes, and actively participates in quality improvement activities.</li>\n <li> Responsibilities also include conducting multidisciplinary rounds on assigned units.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Reports To:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>RN/ Executive Director Clinical Practice (Job Code (JC): 019301)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Supervises:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>None</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's Degree in Nursing</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Education:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Master's Degree in Nursing</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Experience: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>BSN and five (5) years job related experience as a clinical educator</li>\n <li>MSN and three (3) years experience as a clinical educator</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Experience:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrated educational and leadership experience with progressive increase in responsibility. </li>\n <li>Excellent computer, clinical, and communication skills as well as significant experience developing, teaching and coordinating educational programs for adult learners.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Certification/License/Registry:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>License to practice as an RN in the State of Florida</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>-</h2>\n<p><em>Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is an equal opportunity employer and drug-free workplace.
