The Hotel Room Inspector will also be responsible for establishing quality service standards throughout the entire housekeeping department. Your duties include but are not limited to, effectively communicating with team members regarding operational tasks/events and delivering exceptional customer service to our internal and external guests, etc.</p><p><u>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</u> (The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this job class and are not all-inclusive to this position.)</p><ul><li>Participate&nbsp;regularly&nbsp;in&nbsp;departmental&nbsp;and&nbsp;company&nbsp;meetings</li><li>Assign&nbsp;keys&nbsp;and&nbsp;room&nbsp;assignments&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;housekeeping&nbsp;team&nbsp;members.</li><li>Approach&nbsp;all&nbsp;encounters with&nbsp;Hotel&nbsp;guests&nbsp;and&nbsp;team&nbsp;members in a&nbsp;friendly,&nbsp;service-oriented&nbsp;manner.&nbsp;Be a team player.</li><li>Weekly&nbsp;report&nbsp;low&nbsp;inventory&nbsp;items&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;Housekeeping&nbsp;Supervisor/Manager&nbsp;and/or&nbsp;Director&nbsp;of</li></ul><p>Hotel&nbsp;Operations.</p><ul><li>Ensure&nbsp;all&nbsp;completed&nbsp;guest&nbsp;rooms&nbsp;are&nbsp;coded&nbsp;into&nbsp;the&nbsp;system&nbsp;daily.</li><li>Check&nbsp;all&nbsp;suites&nbsp;daily&nbsp;to&nbsp;ensure&nbsp;cleanliness&nbsp;for&nbsp;our&nbsp;VIP&nbsp;guests.</li><li>Inspect all rooms and spot-check rooms that have been cleaned by each Room Attendant.</li><li>Complete&nbsp;a&nbsp;minimum of&nbsp;one&nbsp;(1) written&nbsp;inspection&nbsp;per&nbsp;week on&nbsp;each&nbsp;Room Attendant and&nbsp;turn it in&nbsp;to the&nbsp;Housekeeping&nbsp;Supervisor/Manager.</li><li>Check&nbsp;each&nbsp;room&nbsp;for&nbsp;occupancy,&nbsp;even&nbsp;if&nbsp;vacant.</li><li>Immediately report any safety hazards, problems, or maintenance issues to the appropriate party Ensure complete daily reports, audit and checklists promptly.</li><li>Able&nbsp;to&nbsp;satisfactorily&nbsp;complete&nbsp;assignable&nbsp;work&nbsp;tasks&nbsp;requested&nbsp;by&nbsp;the&nbsp;departmental&nbsp;leaders</li><li>Help Room Attendants complete rooms if short-staffed.</li><li>Other&nbsp;duties&nbsp;as&nbsp;assigned.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><u>QUALIFICATIONS</u></p><ul><li>High&nbsp;School&nbsp;Diploma/GED,&nbsp;required</li><li>1&nbsp;year of Room&nbsp;Inspector&nbsp;experience&nbsp;(preferred)</li><li>Must&nbsp;be&nbsp;able&nbsp;to&nbsp;work&nbsp;Weekends&nbsp;and&nbsp;Holidays</li><li>Able&nbsp;to&nbsp;effectively&nbsp;communicate&nbsp;in&nbsp;English&nbsp;via&nbsp;verbal&nbsp;and&nbsp;written</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p>\n    </div>\n  \n",
