POSITION SUMMARY The essence of the painter’s role is to paint all items going through the powder coat booth, while keeping a high-quality standard. VALUES Innovation Commitment & Passion Integrity Team & Relationships DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Able to stand and paint all parts for extended times throughout shift. Ability to recognize our paint color extensions. Good working knowledge of powder coat application. Able to operate all functions of the Nordson paint booth. ATTRIBUTES Keep up in a fast-paced environment. Communicate ideas and issues in a timely manner. Keep up with LSI’s high-quality standards. Work in a team orientated manner. Change a color in one minute and 20 seconds. Paint manually at 10 feet per minute. Maintain 5S in department. QUALIFICATIONS Previous powder coat experience needed. High School Degree or GED preferred Basic computer knowledge. Ability to read prints. This position description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
