Machine Operator I – MI Cable (Manufacturing / Production Operator) Swedesboro, NJ Full-Time | Manufacturing | Industrial Production Pay Rate: $20 Hr Machine Operator – Manufacturing Opportunity We are hiring a Machine Operator I – MI Cable to support our manufacturing and production operations in Swedesboro, NJ . This position is ideal for experienced machine operators, production technicians, or manufacturing associates who have experience operating industrial machinery, automation equipment, and production systems . The Machine Operator will operate MI cable production machinery , monitor production processes, troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure all products meet quality control and safety standards . If you have experience in manufacturing, production environments, machine operation, or automated equipment , we encourage you to apply. Monitor production processes to ensure output meets specifications and quality standards. Inspect raw materials and finished products to verify compliance with quality requirements. Adjust machine settings and production equipment for different cable sizes and product specifications. Record production data, quality checks, and machine performance information . Perform equipment changeovers, machine adjustments, and minor repairs when necessary. Identify mechanical or equipment issues and communicate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime. Test components and finished goods using: Megohmmeter Low resistance ohmmeter Multimeter Hi-Pot tester Thermal imaging camera Clamp meter Prepare materials and components used by automation and production machinery . Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment . Follow all manufacturing safety procedures and company policies .
