UK Centres for 2026 will run in Bournemouth, Exeter, Winchester and Southend-on-Sea. Students between the ages of 11 to 17 travel to our centres in the UK and take part in lessons in the mornings and trips and activities in the afternoons and evenings. Students stay in residential accommodation on site. </p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Job description:</span></span></p>\n<p>The role of an EFL teacher is to <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">immerse themself </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">in the complete student experience, conducting dynamic English lessons in the mornings</span>. It is imperative to ensure the <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">well-being</span> and diligent <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">supervision</span> of students, adhering rigorously to company policies. The lessons must be meticulously conducted in strict accordance with our established policies, procedures and the high standards set forth by the British Council.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Requirements</span></span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 2 weeks’ availability (preferably more) – specific dates available during interview:\n<ul>\n<li>from 06/07/2026 until 28/08/2026 (Bournemouth),</li>\n<li>from 28/06/2026 until 14/08/2026 (Winchester),</li>\n<li>from 06/07/2026 until 31/07/2026 (Exeter),</li>\n<li>from 06/07/2026 until 07/08/2026 (Southend-on-Sea),</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Currently living in UK and/or eligible to work in UK.</li>\n<li>University degree and a level 5 (Ofqual accredited) TEFL qualification, preferably a CELTA or a TRINITY.</li>\n<li>Experience and interest in working with teenagers, ability to lead and motivate young people.</li>\n<li>Good organisational and time-management skills, ability to work independently and under pressure.</li>\n<li>2 up-to-date references (which will be checked).</li>\n<li>Participation in <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Safeguarding training</span> (provided by us).</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">DBS certificate</span> or <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">police clearance</span> (not older than 1 year) - to be paid for by us if not available.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Responsibilities:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Teach English in line with our <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">syllabus</span> (four 45min lessons a day (Monday-Friday, 9.00-10.15, 10.45-12.30).</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Prepare</span> classes for different levels and <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">manage</span> your groups effectively.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Plan</span> and <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">deliver</span> fun and appropriate lessons using both the Europa School of English syllabus and Schemes of work and any supplementary materials.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Keep</span> accurate <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">records</span> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">of work</span> of your lessons.</li>\n<li>Manage<br>student <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">attendance</span> via the online App system.</li>\n<li>Attend the online <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">induction and training session(s)</span> before starting to work with us.</li>\n<li>Participate in <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">weekly</span> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">teacher</span> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">meetings</span> during the break time.</li>\n<li>Take part in <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">teacher observations </span>and brief feedback sessions conducted by our Teaching Coordinator.</li>\n<li>Participate<br>actively in any <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">continuing</span> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">professional development sessions</span> made available to you.</li>\n<li>Familiarise yourself with the <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">company policies and procedures</span> regarding <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">safeguarding</span> and <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">student welfare</span>.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Evaluate</span> students' language knowledge and <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">advise</span> them on how to improve their language skills on their own.</li>\n<li>Reflect critically on the school syllabus for developmental purposes.</li>\n<li>Show an <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">awareness</span> of the issues surrounding the teaching of English to young learners.</li>\n<li>Take immediate action (student complaints, damage reports) by reporting them to the Teaching Coordinator.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Remuneration</span></span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">:</span> </p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">TEFLi/TEFLQ qualified teachers:</span>\n<ul>\n<li>£18,74 per hour for contact-based teaching (3h a day – 00-10.15, 10.45-12.30).</li>\n<li>£12.71 per hour for admin work: 0.75h a day (8.45-9.00, 10.15-10.45) &amp; 0,5h every Thursday (12.30-13.00).</li>\n<li>Usual weekly rate is £335,12 (£281.1 for lessons + £54,02 for admin work)</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Teachers with alternative relevant qualifications:</span>\n<ul>\n<li>£17,59 per hour for contact-based teaching (3h a day – 00-10.15, 10.45-12.30).</li>\n<li>£12.71 per hour for admin work: 0.75h a day (8.45-9.00, 10.15-10.45) &amp;
