    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The position Pneumatic Technician I is responsible for maintaining pneumatic systems, troubleshooting, and ensuring operational efficiency.   </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Candidates MUST be willing and able to work project work on land or offshore locations. </li>\n <li>Candidates MUST be experienced with the following: </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Spotting of instrument locations for support or bracket installations. </li>\n <li>Receiving instruments and verifications of instrument data sheets. </li>\n <li>Proper installation of instruments. </li>\n <li>Proper installation of tubing, tube tray, fittings, bracketing systems and instrument valves per installation details. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Running single line and group line tubing with no instruction. </li>\n <li>Fitting up of pneumatic end devices with appropriate SS fittings with close supervision. </li>\n <li>Installations of fusible plug loop in accordance with API 14C. </li>\n <li>Pressure testing of tubing in accordance with testing specifications. </li>\n <li>Working with technicians in all phases of construction and testing to develop proper techniques for advancement. </li>\n <li>Inspects meters, indicators, and gauges to detect abnormal fluctuations.  </li>\n <li>Tests accuracy of flow meters, pressure gauges, temperature indicators, controllers, radiation counters or detectors, and other recording, indicating or controlling instruments to locate defective components in system, using test equipment, such as pressure gauges, mercury manometers, potentiometers, pulse and signal generators, oscilloscopes, transistor curve tracers, and ammeters, voltmeters, and watt-meters.  </li>\n <li>Traces out and tests electronic solid state and vacuum tube circuitry and components to locate defective parts in analog and digital, protection, or radiation monitoring systems, using test equipment, schematics, and maintenance manuals.  </li>\n <li>Removes defective instruments from system, decontaminates, disassembles, and cleans instruments, and replaces defective parts, using hand tools.  </li>\n <li>Reassembles instruments and replaces instruments in system, using hand tools. </li>\n <li>Lubricates instruments and replaces defective wiring and tubing. </li>\n <li>Calibrates readings on instruments according to standards and adjusts phasing and aligns stages to ensure accuracy of recording and indicating function. </li>\n <li>Records calibrations made, parts and components used, and inventory of parts on hand.    </li>\n <li>Prepares schematic drawings, sketches, and reports to reflect changes or alterations made in instruments. </li>\n <li>Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules.  </li>\n <li>Performs other duties as required. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for participating in all safety training and assisting in safety procedures such as first aid, CPR, fire drills and emergency evacuation. </li>\n <li>May be required to travel to worksite via marine or helicopter transport. </li>\n <li>May be required to reside at worksite on a predetermined work schedule. </li>\n <li>Take proper care of test instruments and tools in their care. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>MUST have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. </li>\n <li>MUST have a valid TWIC card. </li>\n <li>MUST have 3+ years of offshore/in-land industrial pneumatic experience. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Competencies:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Some basic computer skills (Excel). </li>\n <li>Strong initiative and self-starter. </li>\n <li>Ability to perform under pressure. </li>\n <li>Ability to keep neat and accurate records. </li>\n <li>Multi-task orientation with skills related to work prioritization. </li>\n <li>Ability to work with a team and communicate with other functions. </li>\n <li>Basic knowledge of electrical construction codes and practices. </li>\n <li>Basic knowledge of material specifications and application. </li>\n <li>Understanding of importance of environmental and safe work practices. </li>\n</ul>",
