    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Youth Development Professional</strong></p><p><strong>Position Type:&nbsp;</strong>Part-Time (25-29 hours per week), some flexibility available</p><p><strong>Schedule</strong>: Preferred availability includes Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m., and Wednesday and Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; schedule may vary slightly based on Club needs.</p><p><strong>Compensation:&nbsp;</strong>$22 - $25/hour</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>ABOUT THE CLUB</strong></p><p>For nearly 70 years, Boys &amp; Girls Clubs of Bellevue has been dedicated to providing safe spaces for Bellevue&rsquo;s youth outside of school hours. We focus on serving neighborhoods with the greatest need, ensuring equitable access to life-enhancing programs centered on academics, health, and leadership. Our mission is to empower all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>BE A LEADER IN YOUTH DEVELOPMENT</strong></p><p>A Youth Development Professional (YDP) directly impacts the lives of our Club members by engaging in safe, interactive programs and learning experiences. The role assists with the daily delivery of a wide variety of developmentally appropriate youth programs and activities, including Education &amp; Career Development, Sports &amp; Recreation, Character &amp; Leadership Development, Homework Support, and Specialized Initiatives. &nbsp;</p><p>A YDP is a self-motivated and positive individual who can balance an energetic, fun, youth-focused atmosphere with professionalism and maturity. A YDP serves as a role model for all Club Members and is expected to participate in all activities, motivating and inspiring our youth to engage as well. &nbsp; This position reports directly to the Program Coordinator or the Site Director, depending on the site&#39;s structure.</p><p>BGCB is an ever-changing organization and strives to meet the fluctuating needs of youth and the community. Because of this, we are looking for flexible individuals who are comfortable in an environment where job responsibilities and location could be subject to&nbsp;change.</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Assist with the planning and implementation of Club programs and ensure quality youth engagement&nbsp;</li><li>Monitor and participate in youth activities to create a safe and positive learning environment for all Club members&nbsp;</li><li>Build meaningful, positive relationships with youth and families&nbsp;</li><li>Communicate professionally with Club members, parents, and staff&nbsp;</li><li>Model positive behaviors for children and staff&nbsp;</li><li>Assist Site Director and Program Coordinator in maintaining DCYF licensing standards, including staff ratios, facility standards, documentation, and safety practices</li></ul><p>These responsibilities do not fully encapsulate the scope of the role.
