Knowing that airports are a key economic driver and source of pride for the geographic areas they serve, we proudly perform as partners in more than facilities and other infrastructure. &nbsp;We partner in success.</p>\n<p><b>What We’re Looking For:&nbsp;</b></p>\n<p>We are hiring an Aviation Planner to support our Aviation team.&nbsp; The position requires strong knowledge and enthusiasm for aviation projects, research, data compilation, public policy, and governmental regulations.&nbsp; Focus areas include aviation design and planning.&nbsp;Responsibilities include conducting research and assisting with production tasks in a multi-task environment.&nbsp; The ideal candidate should demonstrate a team spirit, a can-do attitude, and the ability to maintain positive client relationships.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><b>What You’ll Do:</b></p>\n<p><b>Core Responsibilities</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li><b>Strategic Planning:</b>&nbsp;Leads the development of Airport Master Plans, regional transportation plans, and capital improvement programs (CIP).</li>\n <li><b>Regulatory Compliance:</b>&nbsp;Applies expert knowledge of FAA Advisory Circulars (Acs) and federal/state aviation regulations to ensure designs for airfields and vertiports meet safety and land-use standards.</li>\n <li><b>Technical Analysis:</b>&nbsp;Conducts complex data analysis for aviation forecasting, runway utilization, and airspace capacity studies.</li>\n <li><b>Project Leadership:</b>&nbsp;Manages project budgets, schedules, and deliverables, often serving as a Task Lead&nbsp;or assistant Project Manager.</li>\n <li><b>Stakeholder Engagement:</b>&nbsp;Facilitates public hearings and coordinates with airport tenants, airlines, and community groups.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>What You Need To Succeed:</b></p>\n<p><b>Typical Qualifications</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li><b>Education:</b>&nbsp;Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Urban Planning, Aviation Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.</li>\n <li><b>Experience:</b>&nbsp;Usually requires&nbsp;<b>3–8 years</b>&nbsp;of post-graduate experience in airport or environmental planning.</li>\n <li><b>Technical Skills:</b>&nbsp;Proficiency in industry-standard software like&nbsp;AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and AviPLAN, plus GIS/ArcView, Adobe Creative Suite, and advanced Excel skills&nbsp;</li>\n <li><b>Certifications:</b>&nbsp;<span>Certifications: CM – AAAE and/or AICP certification preferred, but not required</span></li>\n <li>Ability to resolve sophisticated client challenges&nbsp;by applying a nuanced, context-aware approach to conflict resolution (Professional Engineer) are often highly preferred at this</li>\n <li>Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>COMPENSATION&nbsp;</b></p>\n<p>The approximate compensation range for this position is $89,043 to $140,243 er year.&nbsp; This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.&nbsp; Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;<b>BENEFITS</b><br>\n  We offer a comprehensive benefits package including:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Medical, dental, vision insurance</li>\n <li>401k Retirement Plan</li>\n <li>Health Savings Account (HSA)</li>\n <li>Flexible Spending Account (FSA)</li>\n <li>Life, AD&amp;D, short-term, and long-term disability</li>\n <li>Professional and personal development</li>\n <li>Generous paid time off</li>\n <li>Commuter and wellness benefits</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>#LI-HYBRID #LI-KR1</p>",
