    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>JOB DESCRIPTION&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p>\n<p>Provides senior level analyst support for finance activities including financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, trending and modeling to support planning for future business decisions for the Kentucky Health Plan.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Essential Job Duties</strong></p>\n<p>• Gathers, interprets and evaluates financial information, generating forecasts, and analyzing trends in medical/pharmacy expenses.<br>\n • Research and provide pharmacy trends in specialty areas and new emerging drugs.<br>\n • Oversight of various financial transactions and processing monthly and quarterly directed and pass-through payments, Oversight for all provider escrow accounting including state reporting, escrow creation and releases, internal reporting. Creation and oversight of various purchase requestion payments.<br>\n • Review of general and administrative costs to ensure consistency with budgeting and recommendations involving updates to forecast.<br>\n • Preparation of the annual quality survey for the Kentucky health plan.<br>\n • Develops policies and procedures to support finance activities.</p>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong><br>\n • At least 3 years of finance experience, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.<br>\n • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.<br>\n • Strong critical-thinking and attention to detail.<br>\n • Ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.<br>\n • Strong time-management skills, and ability to manage simultaneous projects and tasks to meet internal deadlines.<br>\n • Effective verbal and written communication skills.<br>\n • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite products, including key skills in Excel (VLOOKUPs and pivot tables), and applicable software program(s) proficiency.<br>\n &nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>\n<p>• Effective and efficient use of SQL for data extraction and analysis<br><br>\n &nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>To all current Molina employees: If you are interested in applying for this position, please apply through the Internal Job Board.<br><br>\n Molina Healthcare offers a competitive benefits and compensation package.
