Tour Hosts ensure each guest has a memorable and respectful experience while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, accuracy, and safety.</p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)</strong></p><p><strong>Tour Presentation</strong></p><ul><li>Lead walking tours of St. Louis Cemetery No. 1 with energy, professionalism, and clarity.</li><li>Present accurate historical information using compelling storytelling techniques.</li><li>Customize delivery to suit audience interests and questions while maintaining the tour's structure and timing.</li></ul><p><strong>Guest Services</strong></p><ul><li>Greet and engage guests in a friendly, approachable manner.</li><li>Provide general visitor information and answer questions related to the cemetery and New Orleans history.</li><li>Manage guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and a focus on service recovery.</li><li>Promote a respectful and educational atmosphere throughout the tour.</li></ul><p><strong>Safety &amp; Security</strong></p><ul><li>Clearly communicate safety and behavior expectations to guests before and during the tour.</li><li>Monitor guest behavior to ensure compliance with cemetery rules and safety protocols.</li><li>Be prepared to respond appropriately to medical or safety-related incidents.</li></ul><p><strong>Operational Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Follow the company’s guidelines for pacing, timing, and routing of tours.</li><li>Communicate any incidents, guest feedback, or operational issues to the Tour Manager promptly.</li><li>Adhere to all Archdiocese and city regulations regarding cemetery access and conduct.</li></ul>",
