We offer a full range of benefits including paid time off, medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with 4% match, and a lifestyle benefits package which includes monetary incentives based on performance.&nbsp;</p><p>Position Summary:</p><p>This position exists to support production of aluminum fishing boats by assembling various sized hulls built to high quality specifications.&nbsp;</p><p>The starting hourly pay rate for this position is $23.71.</p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Read and follow engineering drawings, specifications, work orders, SWIs and safety data sheets.</li><li>Inspect and use overhead hoists, hull positioners, pneumatic rivet guns, pneumatic drills, bucking bars and other hand and portable tools. &nbsp;</li><li>Examine workpieces for defects and measure workpieces with templates to ensure conformance with specifications. &nbsp;</li><li>Position and secure workpieces using overhead hoists, mechanical devices or manual manipulation.&nbsp;</li><li>Align and clamp workpieces together using hand tools, or position items in fixtures, jigs, or vises in preparation for securing together with screws or rivets.</li><li>Secure material together using rivets, pneumatic hammers, bucking bars, pop rivets, drills and screws.&nbsp;</li><li>Check all parts for quality which includes aesthetically pleasing rivet finishes and passing leak tests. &nbsp;</li><li>Test boats by placing them in a test tank with an overhead hoist and utilizing a pneumatic press to apply pressure.&nbsp;</li><li>Mark or tag material with proper identifiers.</li><li>Clean work area and maintain walkways free of litter and clutter, clean machines, sweep aluminum chips and other debris, keep personal effects stored appropriately. &nbsp;</li><li>Participate in daily morning meetings including stretching activities, assist with incident investigations, continuous improvement initiatives, and quality improvements. &nbsp;</li><li>Follow all internal processes and procedures including incident reporting, rework escalation, and stop-call-wait.&nbsp;</li><li>Assist in training other employees on equipment and department procedures, engage in effective conversations with team members and leaders, escalate and discuss issues or potential issues to leads and supervisors.&nbsp;</li><li>Aid in other areas as needed.&nbsp;</li></ul></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><ul type=\"disc\"><li>At least 1 year of manufacturing experience which includes daily use of basic hand-held power tools.&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of reading prints/shop cards and schedules</li><li>Operation of hand tools, pneumatic drills and hammers, bucking bars, jigs, and fixtures.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to stand, kneel, crawl and work for several hours in various positions either on a concrete floor or within a boat.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to manually move product and materials through regular physical exertion, including but not limited to lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling and bending.</li><li>Ability to prioritize jobs and communicate necessary information to peers and supervisors.&nbsp;</li><li>The operator should exhibit patience and practicality while working under pressure.&nbsp;</li><li>Basic understanding of general safety operating procedures of hand tools, lifting devices and other machines. &nbsp;</li><li>Read operating manuals, written programs, and written instructions.&nbsp;</li><li>Follow instructions and effectively execute procedures; inspect and don appropriate PPE.&nbsp;</li><li>Courage and willingness to stop and question unsafe work. &nbsp;</li><li>History of steady employment with steady and reliable attendance.&nbsp;</li></ul></ul><p>Preferred Experience:&nbsp;</p><p>Experience with quality systems in a customer driven manufacturing environment.&nbsp;</p><p>Work environment:&nbsp;</p><p>Kneeling, standing, lifting, bending, reaching, reaching with weight, squatting, climbing stairs, exposure to heat, exposure to noise.
