    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Job Title:&nbsp;</strong>Process Technician Level II&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Location: Machesney Park, IL</strong></p><p><strong>Department:&nbsp;</strong> Manufacturing<strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Reports to:&nbsp;</strong>Plant Manager<strong>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Effective Date:&nbsp;</strong>04/21/20226</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Job Summary:</strong> To setup injection molds in the injection molding machinery, to start up the molds and machinery and to maintain all aspects of the injection molding manufacturing processes and related activities. &nbsp;Be capable of training Mold Technician Trainees, Tool Maintenance Technician Trainees, Material Handlers, and Mold Operators in their job responsibilities and procedures to be followed.</p><p><strong>People Management Responsibilities: &nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Assistant Technician or Molding Technician Trainee(s)</li><li>Machine Operators</li></ul><p><strong>Duties/Responsibilities:</strong></p><ol><li>Follow and assist with implementation/enforcement of all company policies and procedures, include all safety policies and industry practices.</li><li>Coordinate with the Material Handlers, Mold Technician Trainees, and Operators.</li><li>Effective and efficient advanced setup of molds into the molding machines.</li><li>Ensure molding machines operate efficiently and within appropriate processing parameters and techniques.</li><li>Trouble shoot processing parameters and/or mechanical tooling functions as it relates to unacceptable part quality or machine function.</li><li>Accurately complete all related documentation on work orders and in IQMS.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure the operator&rsquo;s accuracy of reporting on work orders, packaging and as needed in IQMS.</li><li>Ensure operator safety training and that they are properly operating the machine and/or fixture. &nbsp;Holding the trim knife properly, Emergency stop buttons, safety features, etc.</li><li>Perform operator training and instruction by quality specifications, attributable or dimensional as required by manufacturing instructions, inspection criteria sheets, or as otherwise outlined in the traveler package or IQMS notations.</li><li>Ensure raw materials are kept at acceptable levels in the processing equipment and machines.</li><li>Oversight of raw materials and associated subcomponents being kitted and handled correctly to and from the molding floor.</li><li>Perform new mold sampling.</li><li>Complete the daily report for every machine before the end of your shift. Review your report with the next technician coming onto duty as possible.</li><li>Ensure technician or equivalent coverage is always available on the molding floor.</li><li>Oversee the movement, organization, disposition status, machine reporting status, and general completion of all molded components. Perform as required.</li><li>Monitor yields; fix and report inefficiencies of below BOM stated scrap rates</li><li>Oversee the proper labeling and movement of raw material going back to the warehouse staging area.</li><li>Oversee the proper material identification, lot numbers, and movement.</li><li>Initiate and maintain molding department supply inventories, including but not limited to mold releases, necessary setup hand tools and related set up hardware and supplies, tote bins, etc.</li><li>Supervisory responsibilities as needed, including disciplinary actions through HR and Management.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure all work performed by subordinates is completed accurately and thoroughly.</li></ol><p>Inspect Tools to ensure proper configuration of setups, damage of tools, and other discrepancies.</p><p>Note: Duties not listed above may be added at a later date.</p><p><strong>Required&nbsp;</strong><strong>Skills/Abilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Physical operation of manual tools and all injection molding as well as auxiliary equipment.</li><li>Mechanically inclined aptitude.</li><li>Interpersonal skills as it relates to the responsibilities of the position.</li><li>Ability to read, analyze, interpret technical drawings and procedures.</li><li>Ability to write reports.</li><li>Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to operate: forklift and other hydraulic lifting devices as well as wenches in order to load molds into machinery</li></ul><p><strong>Training/Education:</strong></p><p>Three years&rsquo; experience as molding technician and or setup technician minimum</p><p><strong>Physical Effort:&nbsp;</strong>Does this work performed by this position require special physical effort, or impose other physical demands: i.e.( confined sitting, constant standing , prolonged visual attention, finger or hand dexterity, etc.,)</p><ul><li>Heavy lifting over 100 pounds</li><li>Prolonged Standing, Walking, Sitting, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching.</li></ul><p><strong>Workload Demand: &nbsp;Special workload demands made upon this position i.e. (rapid pace, deadlines, extended hours, etc.)</strong></p><ul><li>Rapid Pace</li><li>Heavy deadline demand.</li><li>On-Call and Varying work hours.</li></ul><p>Work Environment:</p><p><strong>Comfort Level: &nbsp;Describe any conditions which negatively influence the level of physical comfort in this position. &nbsp;I.e.
