In this role, you’ll lead and support the design and implementation of mechanical and plumbing systems for a variety of building and infrastructure projects. That means when you join our team, you’re not just doing a job — you’re building your legacy and sharing in the success of the firm.</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>A Culture of Mentorship and Collaboration</strong>: Work alongside a talented, cross-disciplinary team that values mentorship, professional development, and team success.</p></li>\n <li><p>A <strong>flex time program</strong> that empowers you to manage your schedule — because life doesn’t always fit inside 9 to 5</p></li>\n <li><p>A <strong>flexible work environment</strong>, including hybrid and remote options where possible, to support your productivity and well-being</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>What you will do:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Lead the design and development of mechanical and plumbing systems from planning through construction.</p></li>\n <li><p>Perform and review engineering calculations, reports, and construction documents with accountability for quality and accuracy.</p></li>\n <li><p>Manage technical tasks, monitor project scope, schedule, and budget, and coordinate deliverables with internal teams and external partners.</p></li>\n <li><p>Conduct field investigations, site visits, and construction observations to ensure design intent and compliance.</p></li>\n <li><p>Serve as a client contact, leading meetings and communicating project updates with professionalism and sound judgment.</p></li>\n <li><p>Mentor junior engineers and technical staff, providing guidance and review of design work.</p></li>\n <li><p>Utilize software tools such as Microsoft Office, CADD, BIM, and modeling platforms to produce design deliverables.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>What you bring:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Bachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited program in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>4+ years</strong> of post-graduate engineering experience, preferably in mechanical or plumbing design.</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida required</strong>; multi-state licensure may be beneficial.</p></li>\n <li><p>Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CADD, BIM, and relevant modeling or analysis software.</p></li>\n <li><p>Strong technical writing, communication, and problem-solving skills.</p></li>\n <li><p>Demonstrated ability to lead project components and coordinate multidisciplinary efforts.</p></li>\n <li><p>Effective <strong>mentoring</strong>, time management, and organizational skills.</p></li>\n <li><strong>The selected candidate must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
