The Patient Care Associate is responsible for greeting the patients as they enter the practice, check-in, check-out, scheduling, and other administrative tasks.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>What You Will Do:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Greeting patients professionally, both in person and on the phone</li>\n <li>Quickly answering or properly referring questions and issues</li>\n <li>Optimizing provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient scheduling</li>\n <li>Notifying providers of patient arrivals</li>\n <li>Comforting patients by anticipating anxieties and effectively answering questions</li>\n <li>Ensuring availability of treatment information by retrieving and updating patient records</li>\n <li>Verifying financial records and collecting patient charges while filing and expediting third-party claims</li>\n <li>Maintaining office inventory and equipment by anticipating supply needs and expediting supply orders</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide excellent customer service</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>What You Will Bring: </strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma or GED equivalent is required</li>\n <li>Detail-oriented and ability to multitask</li>\n <li>Exceptional customer service skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n <li>Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of MS Office.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of electronic medical records software is a plus.</li>\n <li>Experience in healthcare is preferred but not required.
