Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.</em></p>\n<p><em>If you are viewing this posting on a job site, please visit our company page and search for the opportunity to view the pay range: https://careers-mycmh.icims.com/jobs</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Position Overview:</strong></p>\n<p>Processes laboratory orders and obtains all required specimens for laboratory testing.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Essential Functions and Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<li>Obtains all required specimens from inpatients and outpatients of all ages while keeping identification protocols as a high priority.</li>\n<li>Processes patient specimens including but not limited to registration, test requests, specimen processing of in-house and send out tests, site batches and phone calls of patient results.</li>\n<li>Has the ability and knowledge to resolve send out issues in a timely manner. Able to make decisions based upon the urgency of the situation and documents all issues/resolutions in accordance with work procedures and hospital and departmental policies.</li>\n<li>Stocks and maintains an adequate amount of supplies at all times.</li>\n<li>Acts as a courier transporting specimens.</li>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Required:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school Diploma or equivalent (GED)</li>\n <li>Current California Phlebotomy License</li>\n <li>Current BLS certification</li>\n <li>Current Driving License</li>\n <li>Current and ongoing Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) that is considered insurable under the CMHS insurance coverages</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Preferred:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Six (6) plus months recent hospital experience</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><em><strong>Nationally Recognized.
