Whether you&#39;re starting out or leveling up, Academy is a place where fun can’t lose!  </p><p><b><span>Education</span></b>:</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field, or equivalent years of related work experience required</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Work Experiences: </span></b></p><ul><li>4-7&#43; years of proven experience building sophisticated applications and APIs in cloud and hybrid cloud environments at large scale, preferably in Java and React JS.</li><li>4-7&#43; years of strong background in object-oriented design principles and design patterns.</li><li>3&#43; years of experience in various technology platforms and frameworks, both front-end and back-end, that include JAVA, Spring Boot, React or Angular, /J2EE, Web Services (REST), Design Patterns, Microservices Architecture &amp; Micro Frontends.</li><li>Experience with a 500&#43; million revenue e-commerce retailer preferred</li><li>Proven understanding of design patterns, reference architectures, industry standards, broad technical knowledge, and architectural principles is necessary</li><li>Design and develop solutions using Agile SDLC process</li><li>Ability to estimate the financial impact of technical architecture alternatives and apply multiple technical solutions to business problems is vital</li><li>Demonstrated ability to provide and recommend innovative ideas, with the skill to align projects with enterprise strategy, is needed</li><li>Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor, and work well independently is essential</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Skills: </span></b></p><ul><li>Expert Knowledge of Microservices Development using Spring Boot.</li><li>Expert knowledge building Responsive websites, Client-side scripting, Content Stack Systems using ReactJS, NodeJS, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, XML, JSON, and tools such as Babel, Gulp, Webpack, NPM, etc.</li><li>Expert knowledge of REST/Spring Boot Java Development, Pub/Sub Design Patterns, EAI, and API integration.</li><li>Expert knowledge of Google Cloud or AWS Cloud Technologies (As a compute and not a SAAS)</li><li>Expert Knowledge of SQL, Scripting languages, RDBMS, JavaScript, and the React framework.</li><li>An understanding of project management and the software development lifecycle is needed</li><li>Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with individuals at various levels, both internal and external</li><li>Analytical, with strong problem-solving abilities and creative resolution skills</li><li>Self-motivated, with the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Ability to remain organized, pay strict attention to detail, and meet critical deadlines within a high-volume, fast-paced environment</li><li>Ability to use key tools to dive deep and provide analysis consistently on performance metrics</li><li>Troubleshooting and organizational skills with a can-do attitude and the ability to adjust to changing requirements are necessary</li><li>Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, Bitbucket</li><li>Ability to work in an Onshore/Offshore model</li><li>Strong Microsoft Office program experience, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint</li><li><span>Spring Boot, Java, React.js, Node.js, Micro Front-End architecture, Typescript, GraphQL, Bootstrap.js, HTML5, XML, CSS3, JavaScript, Java, REST services, NoSQL technologies (Firestore, Cassandra/MongoDB), Kafka/MQ, Redis, Splunk, GCP / AWS, Prometheus/Grafana, Git, Jira, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes.</span></li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Responsibilities: </span></b></p><ul><li>Develop and maintain eCommerce features and integrations.</li><li>Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical design.</li><li>Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.</li><li>Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>Physical Requirements &amp; Attendance</span></b></p><ul><li>Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties</li><li>Adhere to company work hours, policies, procedures, and rules governing professional staff behavior</li><li>Regular in-office attendance is required.</li></ul><h2>Equal Employment Opportunity</h2><p style=\"text-align:left !important\">Academy is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate with regard to employment opportunities or practices on the basis of race, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, or any other category protected by law.<b>​</b></p>",
