Job Purpose: The Lead - Product Management is responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle, ensuring that products meet customer needs and market demands. This role involves developing product strategies, collaborating with internal teams, and managing product performance. The Lead - Product Management is also accountable for ensuring product roadmaps are aligned with business objectives, while driving innovation and efficiency within the product development process.
Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Vision:
Develop and execute the product strategy, aligning with company goals. Define product vision, objectives, and KPIs to drive growth and innovation.
Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape. Use insights to guide product decisions and identify opportunities.
Product Development Lifecycle:
Manage the full product lifecycle, from ideation to launch. Ensure timely product releases and collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful execution.
Product Positioning and Pricing:
Define product positioning, messaging, and pricing strategies in collaboration with sales and marketing teams to meet customer needs and stay competitive.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with sales, marketing, engineering, and customer support teams to ensure alignment on product development and customer experience.
Product Lifecycle Management:
Oversee product improvements and manage updates based on customer feedback and market trends. Decide on product enhancements or discontinuation when necessary.
Customer Feedback and Product Improvement:
Collect and prioritize customer feedback to enhance product features. Continuously refine products to improve customer satisfaction and market fit.
Product Performance Tracking:
Track product performance using KPIs, sales data, and feedback. Optimize product performance to increase market share and customer satisfaction.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead and mentor the product management team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Support team growth to achieve organizational and personal goals.
Product Marketing Collaboration:
Collaborate with marketing teams on product launch strategies, promotional campaigns, and customer education to drive adoption and market penetration.
