    "requirements_html": "<p><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee billing and collection tasks for all assigned projects, including troubleshooting prior errors and ensuring smooth financial workflows.</li><li>Prepare and submit billing packages (standard invoices and AIA G702/703), including documentation for stored material billing (bill of sale, insurance certificates, material photos).</li><li>Manage billing through platforms such as Textura, GC Pay, etc., including following up on pencil draws, making revisions, and posting preliminary invoices.</li><li>Monitor billing accuracy to reduce underbilling, process credits for erroneous invoices, and maximize captured revenue reflected on financials.</li><li>Attend bi-weekly WIP meetings and monthly AR meetings to report on billing status, aging receivables, and support collection efforts.</li><li>Serve as point of contact for general contractors, end users, and internal teams regarding billing, funding, and project cost variances; investigate issues and escalate as needed.</li><li>Prepare and obtain compliance documents including lien waivers, as well as supplier waivers when required.</li><li>Research unapplied cash and ensure proper allocation.</li><li>Meet all deadlines for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes; support audit documentation efforts.</li><li>Attend weekly team meetings with the Executive Director of Project Accounting.</li><li>Mentor and train new and existing team members in billing systems and processes.</li><li>Monitor aging reports to identify past due invoices and make collection calls, collaborate with customers via email to secure payment.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>2-5 years experience as a Project Accountant, or similar role.</li><li>Proficiency in electronic accounting systems, such as Textura, GC Pay, etc.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in managing general ledgers, journal entries, and account reconciliations.</li><li>Exceptional ability to prepare project budgets, financial forecasts, and tax reports.</li><li>Extensive experience in project invoicing and billing.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of best practices in accounting.</li><li>Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and client services.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Located within Central or Eastern Time Zones.</li><li>Experience and detailed knowledge of project contracts and change order documents is HIGHLY desired.</li><li>Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, or similar.</li></ul><p><em>We are an equal opportunity employer.
