Our 27 auto recycling locations across Eastern Canada are supported by over 400 employees, all passionate about repurposing used cars and committed to a greener environment for future generations. Since 2008, we have recycled over one million vehicles, and we're just getting started!
At Kenny, we do things differently by offering our customers the opportunity to create their own self-service experience. Customers choose and remove the parts they need themselves for a fraction of the manufacturer's price, in a safe, clean, and environmentally responsible environment.
Our passion is at the heart of everything we do. We are a united and supportive company where your ambitions are also ours. Come aboard – we promise you a rewarding journey.
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Operations Project Manager to lead key operational improvement initiatives within our car recycling business. The Project Manager will oversee projects related to process optimization, technology implementation, and cross-functional coordination. This role requires strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of business processes in automotive recycling/salvage operations, and the ability to manage stakeholders across Operations, IT, Sales, and Finance.

What you're responsible for :
Define and manage project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and deliverables. Plan and deliver multiple projects end-to-end in parallel. Analyze and optimize operational processes (vehicle purchasing, dismantling, warehousing, sales, logistics). Lead the deployment and integration of digital tools and operational systems aligned with business needs. Coordinate cross-functional teams (Operations, IT, Finance, Purchasing, Inventory, Marketing) and external vendors. Own change management, user adoption, training, and documentation. Manage risks, testing, quality control, and go-live readiness. Track KPIs, prepare status reports, and present updates to senior leadership. Ensure clear communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
To join our team:
You have a bachelor’s degree in business, Technology, Operations, or a related field You hold a PMP or an equivalent project management certification, which is considered a strong asset. You have 4 –7 years of project management experience, with experience in automotive recycling, logistics, warehousing, or retail considered an advantage. You have a proven track record of delivering digital and system-related projects, including software, CRM/ERP, mobile applications, and workflow automation. You have a strong understanding of operational processes such as vehicle purchasing, dismantling, inventory management, and used parts sales. You have excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills. You are able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You are bilingual in English and French.
The advantages (!) :
Eligible for paid vacation from the first day; Comprehensive group insurance plan; Telemedicine (Unlimited access to a doctor 24/7); Group RRSP with employer matching contributions; AIM tuition assistance grants; Referral program; Exclusive employee discounts on parts at any Kenny location; Company-organized events throughout the year (barbecue, Christmas party, etc.). Exceptional advancement opportunities.
