Paid time off is earned according to the local policy and increases with the length of employment.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Click HERE to discover how we empower team members to grow, thrive, and advance in their careers.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>WE LOVE OUR WORK.</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for supervising and managing staff in the Facilities department who conduct general maintenance, installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems. </li>\n <li>Develops, implements and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives. </li>\n <li>Create effective and efficient schedules, while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives and achieving guest satisfaction. </li>\n <li>Responsible for assisting in the budget process for the department and provide recommendations; ensuring compliance to departmental budget initiatives; reporting budget concerns to manager. </li>\n <li>Makes recommendations or final decisions on various maintenance and construction projects and determines best practice for using in-house resources. </li>\n <li>Inspects projects after completion for satisfactory results. </li>\n <li>Ensures OSHA standards are followed within the department.</li>\n <li>Schedules repair, maintenance and installation of machines, tools and equipment to ensure continuous operations.</li>\n <li>Manages grounds crew and maintenance of property grounds </li>\n <li>Manages landscaping activities as required. </li>\n <li>Conducts a daily inspection of the property to ensure that it is clean, attractive and fully functional. implements immediate remediation of problems.</li>\n <li>Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. </li>\n <li> Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.  </li>\n <li>Responsible for the overall achievement of department customer service goals.    </li>\n <li>Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to Executive Management / GM. </li>\n <li>Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>BRING US YOUR BEST.</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualification Requirements</strong>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Must be at least 21 years of age.</p></li>\n <li><p>Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university; two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</p></li>\n <li><p>Prior leadership experience preferred.</p></li>\n <li><p>Working knowledge of Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, and Carpentry trades; knowledge of generators, fire pumps, and electrical switchgears (trade license preferred).</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals; compute rates, ratios, and percentages; draw and interpret bar graphs.</p></li>\n <li><p>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.</p></li>\n <li><p>Previous experience with all aspects of maintenance and engineering (especially electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, and equipment maintenance).</p></li>\n <li><p>Strong ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve conflicts diplomatically and tactfully.</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public.</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Oversee staff development and training programs.</p></li>\n <li><p>Manage rewards and recognition programs to maximize engagement.</p></li>\n <li><p>Evaluate team member performance and provide constructive feedback.</p></li>\n <li><p>Make recommendations for staffing, including interviewing and hiring.</p></li>\n <li><p>Plan, assign, and direct work schedules to meet business needs.</p></li>\n <li><p>Determine work procedures and expedite workflow.</p></li>\n <li><p>Manage employee performance, including disciplining, coaching, and counseling.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Language Skills</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Ability to read and interpret documents in English (safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, procedure manuals).</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to read and communicate verbally in English.</p></li>\n <li><p>Written communication skills in English may also be required.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Reasoning Ability</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram instructions.</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Certificates, Licenses, Registrations</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Must qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.</p></li>\n <li><p>Must possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record as determined by Penn National Gaming’s auto insurance carrier.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Regularly required to stand and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.</p></li>\n <li><p>Frequently required to reach with hands/arms and to talk or hear.</p></li>\n <li><p>Vision requirements include close, color, and peripheral vision.</p></li>\n <li><p>Must regularly lift/move up to 10 lbs, frequently up to 25 lbs, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.</p></li>\n <li><p>Must be able to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, crouch, kneel, stack, and balance while working in varying environments, including confined spaces.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Noise level is usually moderate to loud.</p></li>\n <li><p>Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts.</p></li>\n <li><p>Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, outside weather conditions, extreme cold, and electrical shock risk.</p></li>\n <li><p>Possible exposure to unrestricted second-hand tobacco smoke.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>STAY IN THE GAME.
