          "text": "<p>The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:</p><p>&#xa0;</p><ul><li>Complete deliveries and pick-ups promptly in Cranbrook and the surrounding area, adhering to scheduled routes and timeframes&#xa0;</li><li><strong>Use a handheld device to scan the freight to&#xa0;document shortages and any damages, and collect signatures.</strong></li><li>Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations</li><li>Operate vehicles safely and efficiently, following all traffic laws and company policies</li><li>Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and mileage&#xa0;using Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs)</li><li>Load and unload cargo carefully, ensuring proper handling of goods and materials</li><li>Secure cargo properly using appropriate tie-downs, straps, or other securing devices</li><li>Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members</li><li>Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise during deliveries or pick-ups</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, both inside the cab and the cargo area</li><li>Report any vehicle maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel</li><li>Assist in route planning and optimization when necessary</li><li>Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines</li><li>Participate in ongoing training and safety meetings as required</li><li>Be flexible with working hours, as shifts run from 6 AM to 4 PM daily, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility required</li><li>Represent the company professionally at all times, maintaining a positive attitude and appearance</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p>",
