We think of them as global spirits, like ourselves. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); text-decoration: underline\">We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic<span> </span></span><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); text-decoration: underline\">Activity Leaders</span><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); text-decoration: underline\"><span> </span>to deliver programmes for our students available for an immediate start.</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Position Summary:</span><br><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; text-decoration: underline\"> The Activity Leader role at Bayswater Education has core responsibility for: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Planning, leading and supervising interesting and fun daytime and evening activities for our students. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Taking groups of students on cultural and educational visits and excursions. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Helping us to provide a mix of fun and educational offerings on our programmes, and these can include discos, quiz nights, talent shows and sports among many other things. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Providing information to the students at points of interest, giving learning opportunities where possible during excursions and visits to places of interest. Providing a fun, engaging and exciting experience for our students visiting the UK. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ensuring the welfare and safety of the group. </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Duties &amp; Responsibilities </span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Attending training prior to employment (paid)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Leading groups of students (adult and junior) on activities, excursions, and visits to museums/attractions</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Delivering relevant and interesting information during these activities and excursions</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ensuring the safety and welfare of students during activities and excursions</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Meeting groups on arrival at airports </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Familiarising yourself with the campus, attractions and amenities in local area </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Liaising with the team of Bayswater staff and Group Leaders at the centre and developing a friendly and co-operative atmosphere </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Organising, leading and participating fully in activities and excursions  </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ensuring you have all the necessary information to lead activities/excursions and give informative talks when walking around the locations </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ensuring that the company’s health and safety guidelines are followed, both on campus and when students are off-site on excursion </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Assisting with student arrivals, conducting campus tours, and helping with student departures and room checks as required </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Assisting with student supervision, mealtime supervision and curfew duties as per the rota. This will sometimes involve evening work. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Assisting the centre managers with administrative tasks </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Acting in a professional manner with all Bayswater agents, clients, and staff and not to engage in any activity which may bring Bayswater into disrepute </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Wearing the Bayswater uniform provided (when on duty)  </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">To read and be fully conversant with the Staff Handbook</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; text-decoration: underline\">Legal Requirements </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Eligibility to live and work in the UK at the time of contract commencing</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Enhanced DBS Disclosure </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; text-decoration: underline\">Salary and Benefits </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Contract Type: Flexible</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">£13.00- £13.33 per hour depending on experience </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">You are entitled to statutory holiday entitlement of 5.6 weeks holiday pro rata </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">A strong commitment to providing you with in-service support, training and professional development sessions  </span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">A bus pass or travel card will be provided for trips and excursions.
