You will work well with others, always positively representing us with the highest journalistic standards and professionalism on display.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"line-height: normal;\">Shooting and editing of VOs, VO-SOTs and packages for broadcast air and online postings</li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\">Work with the Assignment Desk and Reporters to cover daily stories</li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\">Shoot on assigned professional camera equipment&nbsp;</li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\">Edit in Adobe Premiere and use ENG, SNG, and wireless data to feed completed work to the station</li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\">Gather video and still pictures for digital platforms</li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\">Work with reporters and producers to ensure the best content and facts are gathered</li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\">Work with producers to ensure their creative vision is accomplished with vivid video and natural sound</li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\">Coordinate incoming video elements from crews in the field</li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\">Work with catalog systems to save/store, record and locate necessary video</li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\">Produce and publish content to our online platforms</li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\">Organization and attention to gear/equipment maintenance</li></ul><p style=\"line-height: normal;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"line-height: normal;\">Training in the art of video photojournalism</li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\">Professional or college experience in a newsroom</li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\">Carry up to 50 pounds of equipment</li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\">Experience with ENG trucks</li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\">Can work in all weather conditions</li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\">Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record</li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\">Must operate digital editing tools</li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\">Must have computer and software experience; knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Precis, and CNN platforms</li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\">Can organize and prioritize</li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\">Have and exhibit unwavering journalistic integrity and ethical standards</li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\">Can deal with the stresses and pressures of time-sensitive newscast production</li><li style=\"line-height: normal;\">Related military experience will be considered</li></ul><p style=\"line-height: normal;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: normal;\"><strong>Values in Action&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"line-height: normal;\">At Hearst Television we tell stories every day.
