This philosophy serves as an unwavering commitment to the customer, supplier, and shareholder, and it serves as the foundation for one of the strongest employee-employer partnerships in American industry.&nbsp;</p><p>For more information about our products, please visit http://www.worthingtonarmstrongventure.com</p><p><strong>WAVE is currently looking for a night shift Material Packager to join our team!&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong style=\"background-color: transparent;\">Schedule:</strong> Night Shift | Monday – Thursday<br><strong style=\"background-color: transparent;\">Shift Details:</strong> Four 10-hour shifts (8:00 PM – 6:00 AM)</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Primary Responsibilities&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Understand and follow written and verbal work instructions</li><li>Wipe completed aluminum extrusion with a cleaning pad/rag soaked with cleaning solution/alcohol/acetone</li><li>Visually inspect and spot-paint blemishes and surface defects with paint pen/brush/aerosol.</li><li>Place extrusion/installation parts in plastic bag.</li><li>Place bagged material in box according to packing instructions, tape box shut and place on pallet.</li><li>Work well within assigned team/work cell.</li><li>Work at a pace that contributes to achievement of daily production goals.</li><li>Maintain all work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition at all times.</li><li>Flexible/adaptable to assignment changes, will jump in when help is needed and learn new things.</li><li>Cross-train to build skills and contribute to achieving production and order delivery goals.</li><li>Maintain all work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition at all times.</li><li>Perform all work in a safe manner; use proper lock-out procedures during repairs or machine adjustments. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and make certain that all safety equipment is in proper working order.</li><li>Perform these and other related duties as assigned or directed.</li><li>Actively participate in communication and WAVE culture.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left: 0in;\"><strong>Measures of Effectiveness; including, but not limited to:</strong></p><ul><li>Safety – OSHA rate, compliance to regulations/policies, evidence of risk reduction, engagement in 8-Step Safety Process, near-miss reporting</li><li>Quality – Customer claims, quarantined product, ability to recognize defects and implement corrective actions through visual inspection while machine is in operation</li><li>Productivity – Changeover time, PE%, downtime %, troubleshooting, CMMS activity, work orders</li><li>Communication – Shift handoff and line preparation, Gemba, kaizen event participation</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>High school diploma or GED&nbsp;</li><li>Preferred; Knowledge and experience of machinery in manufacturing environment or similar.&nbsp;</li><li>Preferred; Experience with LEAN manufacturing, 6S, Six Sigma.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Preferred; Experience in a fast-paced, high performance manufacturing environment.&nbsp;</li><li>Able to lift a maximum of 40 pounds&nbsp;</li><li>Able to stand 8-10 hours per day at assigned work area&nbsp;</li></ul></div></div><div><div><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>Comprehensive benefits package: Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance</li><li>Vacation</li><li>Quarterly Profit Sharing</li><li>401k Plan</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><div>WAVE is an equal opportunity employer.
