This includes Hazardous Building Materials, Indoor Air Quality, Mould, Remediation/Abatement, and Drinking Water Assessments - particularly in institutional settings such as schools.</em><br></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><em>This role requires strong technical capability, self-direction, and flexibility to perform after-hours field work (evenings, nights, and weekends) when project schedules require access to occupied or restricted buildings.</em></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Primary Functions:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform hazardous materials, environmental, and drinking water assessments</li>\n<li>Execute fieldwork, sampling, and site investigations in accordance with regulatory protocols</li>\n<li>Coordinate with Project Managers, subcontractors, laboratories, and clients</li>\n<li>Support multiple concurrent projects while meeting timelines, budgets, and quality standards</li>\n<li>Conduct after-hours field work as required (e.g., school-based or occupied-building projects)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Environmental &amp; Hazardous Materials Assessments</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Complete all activities associated with:\n<ul>\n<li>Asbestos Assessments</li>\n<li>Hazardous Building Materials Assessments (HBMA)</li>\n<li>Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Assessments</li>\n<li>Mould Assessments</li>\n<li>Remediation / Abatement Projects</li>\n<li>Drinking Water Assessments (e.g., lead and bacteria sampling)</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Field Work &amp; Sampling</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct site visits, field investigations, and observations</li>\n<li>Collect environmental and drinking water samples following prescribed protocols</li>\n<li>Maintain accurate chain of custody documentation</li>\n<li>Safely handle, transport, and submit samples to accredited laboratories</li>\n<li>Perform work in institutional environments, including schools, in compliance with site-specific requirements (e.g., security clearances)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Project Coordination &amp; Execution</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Self-organize and execute assigned tasks within defined timelines and budgets</li>\n<li>Schedule site visits, including evening, night, and weekend work as required</li>\n<li>Supervise contractors and coordinate subcontracted services (abatement contractors, labs, etc.)</li>\n<li>Coordinate with clients and subcontractors to ensure health and safety requirements are met</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Technical Analysis &amp; Reporting</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct historical reviews and regulatory research</li>\n<li>Review analytical results and site findings</li>\n<li>Assist with or prepare clear, accurate technical reports, including tables, figures, and drawings</li>\n<li>Draft technical summaries of findings for Project Manager review</li>\n<li>Collaborate with Project Managers to refine findings and develop recommendations for further investigation or remediation</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Educational and Experience Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul></ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in environmental science/technology/engineering or a related field</li>\n<li>2-3 years of progressive environmental consulting or field experience in:</li>\n<li>Hazardous Building Materials\n<ul>\n<li>Indoor Air Quality</li>\n<li>Mould Assessments</li>\n<li>Remediation / Abatement Projects</li>\n<li>Environmental or water sampling</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Working knowledge of Ontario and Canadian environmental regulations and standards</li>\n<li>Experience coordinating subcontractors or third-party consultants</li>\n<li>Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, with the ability to prepare and edit 2D drawings, diagrams, and figures to support field investigations and technical documentation.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Eligibility for registration as an environmental professional (EP) or a certified engineering technologist (CET). or other equivalent such Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP), Water Resources Technician (WRT), Advance Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT), Canadian National Radon Proficiency Program (C-NRPP), etc.)</li>\n<li>Drinking water sampling experience (lead, bacteria)</li>\n<li>On-site asbestos air sampling and PCM analysis</li>\n<li>Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, structural, plumbing, electrical)</li>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical reports</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Licensing &amp;
