It’s our talent that helps make Merchants Metals the first name in fence solutions.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>POSITION SUMMARY:</strong></p><p>We currently have openings in the operations department for the following positions: <strong>(Shifts hours are from 5 pm -5 am)</strong></p><p><strong>GBW Operator-Galvanizing before weaving</strong></p><p>• Move materials through the process tanks and zinc kettles</p><p>• Align and secure holding fixtures, attachments, accessories, or materials on machines</p><p>• Transfer metal into a furnace</p><p>• Measure, examine, or test completed units to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using</p><p>precision instruments, such as micrometers</p><p>• Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process</p><p>• Maintain the surrounding area, keeping the area free of debris</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required</li><li>Follow established safety procedures when performing tasks and/or working with equipment.</li><li>Read work instructions and set up machines as required to run different product sizes.</li><li>Stand or walk for the entire shift and use arms and back to perform the tasks associated with the role.</li><li>Must be able to work overtime as required with Saturday availability.</li></ul><p><br></p>",
