Devereux Florida provides Family Preservation and Child Welfare case management services for children and families referred by the Department of Children and Families, to ensure a community without abuse, neglect or abandonment. Based out of Saint Augustine and providing coverage throughout Saint Johns County, this position is responsible for helping families with resources and preventing children from entering the foster care system. This role works very closely with Department of Children and Families to develop a family preservation plan. It engages the Family via family Team Meetings. It will determine needs and implement resources. It works in conjunction with support staff to ensure necessary referrals are completed for external providers as well as completes necessary follow-ups to ensure the needs of the families served are being met. This position will maintain close contact with the assigned DCF investigator to ensure adequate updates are provided as to the family’s progress throughout participation in the Family Builders Program. This is a position is eligible for up to a $1,000 sign-on bonus. Schedule: Full time; Flexible schedule to accommodate families scheduled; this is NOT a 9-5 position Location: This position is field-based position and will provide coverage in St. John county. Successfully pass pre-employment medical screenings which include: Drug Test and TB Test. Successfully pass a Level 2 background screening with the State of Florida.
