The Opportunity:

Position Summary:
The Northern California Business Development Manager will drive strategic business development efforts by building trusted client relationships, tracking opportunities, gathering market intelligence, and supporting proposals and pursuits. You’ll be a key connector across the region—balancing client-facing engagement with the behind-the-scenes organization needed to keep momentum strong. This role is ideal for a collaborative, detail-oriented BD professional who thrives in a fast-paced A/E/C environment.

• Support pursuit strategy, reporting, forecasting, and client debriefs.
• Coordinate regional industry visibility, including events, sponsorships, and networking efforts.
• Mentor and support seller-doers in strengthening their business development efforts.
• Conduct market research and stay current on industry trends and opportunities.
• Organize business development notes, agendas, action items, and follow-through.
Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of A/E/C industry experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, science, or a related field, or equivalent related experience.
• Proven success in growing a practice and winning work.
• Experience building and managing client relationships.
• Strong understanding of the A/E/C industry and business development process.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to produce quality work under deadline pressure.
• Ability to balance client-facing responsibilities with internal coordination and administrative work.

Compensation:
Salary Range: $115,000 - $150,000 (depending on experience)
