    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Consultant / Senior Arboriculturist, Bristol</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Salary: £32,000 - £40,000</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position: Full time, Permanent</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>GE Consulting are looking for an experienced arboriculturist to join our vibrant team in Bristol. This role will vary depending on your level of experience but we require another experienced arboriculturist capable of conducting surveys, writing reports and managing a wide variety of interesting projects to join our team.</p>\n<p>We are seeking a bright and enthusiastic individual who will bring positivity and passion to our team.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We will pay a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">£2000 joining bonus</span> for any direct appointments</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential skills and experience</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least four years consultancy experience (including writing reports and project management)</li>\n<li>A suitable arboricultural qualification e.g. FdSc Arb, Dip Arb L6</li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills including report writing and client liaison</li>\n<li>Thorough knowledge of BS5837:2012, legislation, and the planning system leading to confidence in providing technical advice to clients.</li>\n<li>Experience of carrying out BS5837:2012 surveys and preparation of Arboricultural Impact Assessments / Arboricultural Method Statements</li>\n<li>Experience of carrying out tree condition and safety assessments and a suitable qualification e.g. Lantra Professional Tree Inspection</li>\n<li>Attention to detail and the ability to deliver contracts on time and to budget</li>\n<li>A client-focused approach where the commercial element of each project can be understood and appreciated</li>\n<li>Full driving license</li>\n<li>\n</li></ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Desirable skills and experience</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Professional membership of the Arboricultural Association</li>\n<li>AutoCAD or QGIS skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Salary and benefits</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A salary to match your grade and experience</li>\n<li>A fun and friendly non-corporate working environment</li>\n<li>Interesting mix of projects</li>\n<li>Considerable CPD opportunities and mentoring</li>\n<li>A trusting environment with no timesheet stress</li>\n<li>Paid leave to volunteer for a charity</li>\n<li>Company socials</li>\n<li>4% contributory pension scheme</li>\n<li>All TOIL given back across the year</li>\n<li>Flexible home working options and hours of work</li>\n<li>Increasing annual leave with length of service</li>\n<li>Additional leave can be bought</li>\n<li>Paid Arboricultural Association membership</li>\n<li>Cycle to work scheme</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>GE are an equal opportunity employer that recognises the value of a diverse workforce.
