We are an entrepreneurial, multidisciplinary firm with a history of successfully delivering some of the most complex infrastructure projects across North America.&nbsp; We are currently looking to grow and enhance our transit, rail control systems, structural, roadway, and tunneling practices and are seeking highly motivated and dynamic engineers.</p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>What a day at EXP has in store for you</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Perform QA/QC review of specifications, reports, code application, RFI and submittal review, equipment selection, deliverables and drawings.</p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Initiate and perform QA/QC reviews of all calculations by designers and provide guidance and mentoring.</p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Review code related items with Designers, and ensure compliance.</p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Edit and develop basis of design narratives documenting project scope.</p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Thorough understanding of psychrometrics.</p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Thorough understanding of fire protection/fire suppression code standards and calculations.</p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Understand and apply concepts of CHW, HW, WSHP, variable &amp; constant flow systems.</p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Advance equipment selection and analysis – chillers, boilers, air terminals, cooling towers, HEPA filters, DX equipment, and water source heat pumps.</p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Write new specifications sections, develop new details, as required for project needs.&nbsp;</p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Write studies and reports for systems on projects.</p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Perform life-cycle cost analyses, and energy/cost calculation for HVAC systems.&nbsp;</p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Understand and be able to modify controls diagrams for each project.</p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Modify sequences of operation for air and water side equipment and systems.&nbsp;</p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Meets with contractors during bid phase to review design details.</p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Travel to project sites to review progress of work and successfully solve problems within time &amp; budget</p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Develop and monitor work plans.</p></li></ul><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>What your experience looks like</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering&nbsp;</p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">A minimum of 5 years of experience</p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Registered PE preferred</p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Experience in designing HVAC, Fire Protection, and Plumbing.</p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">REVIT MEP Proficiency is preferred.</p></li></ul><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>The pay range for this role is $100,000 to $150,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
