Alongside our amazing BCBAs, you will implement top tier behavior therapy programs through 1:1 therapy, data collection, and teamwork. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>New Behavior Therapist - </strong>We offer paid on the job training for those interested in pursuing a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certificate with full support from our clinicians. Check out our RBT Rise Program, where you will have the opportunity to bloom your career with us!</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p><strong>Direct Client Care: </strong>Provide one-on-one therapy to clients in various settings including our Centers, homes and/or schools. </p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs): </strong>Follow the behavior intervention plans designed by BCBAs to address specific behavioral goals and objectives for each client.</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Data Collection:</strong> Accurately collect and record data on client behaviors and responses during therapy sessions, ensuring data integrity and consistency.</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Progress Monitoring:</strong> Collaborate with the supervising BCBAs to track and report client progress towards behavioral goals and adjust intervention plans as needed.</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Behavior Reduction Techniques: </strong>Utilize approved behavior reduction techniques and strategies as outlined in the behavior intervention plan to address challenging behaviors.</p></li>\n <li><p>Skill Acquisition: Assist clients in acquiring and developing functional skills, communication abilities, and appropriate social behaviors.</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Parent/Caregiver Training:</strong> Provide training and support to parents/caregivers on implementing behavior intervention techniques and strategies in the home environment.</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Professionalism:</strong> Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards in behavior analysis while maintaining client confidentiality.</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Documentation:</strong> Complete required paperwork, progress reports, and session notes.</p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Communication: </strong>Maintain open communication with the BCBAs, parents/caregivers, and other team members involved in the client's treatment.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Passion for working with children and helping others.</p></li>\n <li><p>High School Diploma or GED is required.</p></li>\n <li><p>Must meet all BACB eligibility requirements to obtain RBT certification. </p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to pass the required RBT certification exam within the training period. </p></li>\n <li><p>Must obtain and maintain required RBT certification through the BACB.</p></li>\n <li><p>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</p></li>\n <li><p>Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Physical capacity to move quickly and respond to potentially aggressive behavior andde-escalate situations with clients.</p></li>\n <li><p>Prolonged periods of standing, walking, kneeling, bending, squatting, running and/orsitting in order to interact with clients.</p></li>\n <li><p>Must be able to move and lift up to 50 pounds to assist with client positioning or mobility.</p></li>\n <li><p>Adequate vision and hearing are needed to work with clients and staff.</p></li>\n <li><p>Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to operate office equipment and othernecessary tools.</p></li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to meet the physical requirements and perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
