    "description": "<p>Berkshire Precision Tool, LLC, a leading supplier of American-made, industrial cutting tools, is seeking a qualified Maintenance Mechanic for our production facility located in Pittsfield, MA. This person will be responsible primarily performing preventative maintenance and repairs on production machinery, building mechanical systems, building exterior and grounds as required.</p>\n<p>The hours for this position are 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Salary Range for this position is $25 - $35 per hour based on level of qualifications and experience.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Berkshire Precision Tool, LLC offers an excellent benefit package including:</p>\n<p>Medical, Dental, Vision Life Insurance, paid Holidays/Vacation, 401(k) including both base and Company matching contributions, Short-Term Disability Insurance, Long-Term Disability Insurance and Life Insurance</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Skills and Qualities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Technical Knowledge:</span> A thorough understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems is critical. </li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving:</span> The ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues is a core competency. </li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Manual Dexterity:</span> Mechanics must be skilled in using hand, power, and specialized tools. </li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Computer Skills:</span> Basic computer literacy is necessary for operating equipment and using maintenance management systems. </li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Communication and Teamwork:</span> Effective communication skills are needed to work with others, and being a team player. </li>\n</ul>\n<p>  </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">      Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A valid Massachusetts driver’s license and safe driving record are required.</li>\n<li>Will be required to take and pass the requirements for an MA Class 1-D hoist license (Forklift ).</li>\n<li>Must have good mechanical ability and willingness to learn to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair problems as they arise.</li>\n<li><span>Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning and lubricating machinery.</span></li>\n<li><span>Repair machinery and components using technical manuals and diagnostic equipment.</span></li>\n<li><span>Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and regulations.</span></li>\n<li><span>Keep machinery and equipment in efficient and safe working condition.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p>  </p>\n<p> Other duties would include filter changes, trash and recycling and planned projects .</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>",
