Signet Health manages the Behavioral Health Services for Medstar Washington Hospital Center and has an<strong> opening</strong> <strong>for a PRN Advanced Practice Provider (APRN), NP with Acute Care Experience.</strong></p>\n<p><strong>**Nurse Practitioners who apply for this role must have Acute Care Experience.  </strong></p>\n<p> Essential Functions of this position are:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform H&P’s on newly admitted patients on behavioral health inpatient units and will follow through on other medical illnesses.  </li>\n <li>Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning, as needed.</li>\n <li>Participate in agency-wide training programs and in-services.</li>\n <li>Provide quality and timely clinical documentation, per Joint Commission and other regulatory agencies’ requirements.</li>\n <li>Perform rotations throughout Washington Hospital Center.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements/Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualifications Needed:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Proficiency in interpersonal communication and interdisciplinary teamwork.</li>\n <li>Master's, postgraduate, or doctoral degree as an <strong><u>Advanced Practice Provider</u></strong> program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) (formerly NLNAC | National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission).</li>\n <li>Eligible for Acute or Acute Adult Nurse Practitioner certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).  </li>\n <li>Have effective problem-solving skills and display excellent oral/written communication skills.  </li>\n <li>Flexibility adjusting to the needs of a fast-paced environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Compensation Information:</strong></p>\n<p>The Set hourly rate this position is: $112.50 per hour</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Tour of Duty:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>PRN, As Needed: 8-hour shifts</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>EOE</strong></p>\n<h2>Hospital/Program Description</h2>\n<p>For more than a half a century, MedStar Washington Hospital Center has set the highest standard for health care—and reached and surpassed it year after year.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>MedStar Washington Hospital Center is a not-for-profit, 926-bed academic medical center in the center of the nation’s capital—and every day, hundreds of people in the region depend on us for their care.
