For more information, visit&nbsp;<a href=\"http://www.metalsa.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">metalsa.com</a></p>\n<p><strong>Metalsa’s Mission:</strong>&nbsp;To move the world more efficiently while protecting the environment and ensuring long-term economic and social value generation for our stakeholders.</p>\n<p><strong>Metalsa’s Vision:&nbsp;</strong>To become a leading mobility manufacturer of chassis and electrified solutions for the automotive, trucking, and off-highway industries</p>\n<p><strong>Objective:&nbsp;</strong>Lead the Implementation and Supervision of Manufacturing Policies and oversee all aspects of production</p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:&nbsp;</strong>Assembly Shift Manager</p>\n<p><strong>What does your typical day look like?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure a safety-first culture, guiding subordinates to adhere to safety procedures, aiming for zero accidents.</li>\n <li>Implement and supervise manufacturing policies, fostering the production of high-quality products, timely deliveries, and cost-effectiveness through continuous improvement activities.</li>\n <li>Oversee daily/monthly production activities, ensuring achievement of production targets, and reporting issues to the area manager for strategic adjustments.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with the area manager in developing the annual profit plan, including budgeting, forecasting, labor allocation, equipment needs, quality goals, and continuous improvement programs.</li>\n <li>Provide input and support for new product plans/programs.</li>\n <li>Contribute to enhancing business objectives and financial performance at the Plant, Division, and Corporation levels.</li>\n <li>Facilitate a team environment w/ maintenance, quality, and production to ensure all safety operative goals are met</li>\n <li>Actively support full implementation of the 5S initiatives</li>\n <li>Work closely with the quality area to create and maintain systems that ensure quality products</li>\n <li>Support Teammates in their efforts to consistently exceed customer expectations, maximize production and quality while minimizing downtime and scrap</li>\n <li>Communicate all potential quality concerns</li>\n <li>Enforce all areas and plant quality procedures</li>\n <li>Maintain all customer and TS requirements</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT/ TRAINING</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Actively encourage participation in idea program by effectively resolving and implementing Teammate ideas</li>\n <li>Identify training opportunities to develop and maintain a highly motivated and capable team</li>\n <li>Promote a continuous improvement atmosphere to ensure teammates are engaged</li>\n <li>Lead efforts to reduce costs and improve efficiency to meet planned / plant objectives</li>\n <li>Facilitate Metalsa Model and Metalsa Operating System training and implementation</li>\n <li>Develop, conduct, deliver, and assess training needs for Employee Development and Succession<strong>&nbsp;</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Education &amp;
