Skill-level requirements vary from basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance to component replacement.</li>\n <li>Maintains, diagnoses and repairs a variety of equipment including diesel engines, transmissions, drive train components, winches, high pressure pumps, centrifugal pumps, air compressors, microprocessor controls, electro-mechanical equipment, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, gearboxes, PTO's, 12/24v electrical systems, equipment cabs and controls, chassis and suspension, A/C systems etc.</li>\n <li>Responsible for ensuring the duties of their position are performed in a safe, efficient and effective manner while always being professional in all forms of communications</li>\n <li>Performs inspections required by company and customer.</li>\n <li>Performs basic troubleshooting on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.</li>\n <li>Installs and/or replace new or reconditioned repair parts.</li>\n <li>Tests equipment for proper operation.</li>\n <li>Ensures total customer service.</li>\n <li>Requires both shop and field work.</li>\n <li>Shift work, weekends and/or 24-hour call may be required.</li>\n <li>Commercial Driver’s License required.</li>\n <li>Operates lifting devices.</li>\n <li>Requires basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic circuits/drawings/prints.</li>\n <li>Must complete proper paperwork as assigned.</li>\n <li>Performs other related duties as assigned.</li>\n <li>Requires basic working knowledge of equipment operation and associated operating systems</li>\n <li>Ability to use diagnostic equipment (i.e., Cat ET, CAT-SIS)</li>\n <li>Familiarization of electronic cables, connections and sensors.</li>\n <li>Preparing parts requisitions, timecards, part returns, accurate and complete service reports and other necessary reports and forms.</li>\n <li>Maintaining the service truck and equipment carried on the service truck.</li>\n <li>Must be able to properly open and complete work orders with minimal corrections to close.</li>\n <li>Maintain a sense of urgency for a mining customer working 24/7/365.</li>\n <li>Maintain proper levels of customer satisfaction related to his work on site.</li>\n <li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent required.</li>\n <li>3+ years of experience working on heavy equipment required.</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record must also possess a valid CDL license. </li>\n <li>Must have a complete set of tools capable of working in and around heavy equipment.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques and proper repair procedures is required.</li>\n <li>Must be able to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics, operating and maintenance service manuals.</li>\n <li>Organizational and time management skills required. Must have the ability to set and keep priorities and professionally handle the stress associated with dealing with a fast-paced industry and deadlines.</li>\n <li>Must be a Team player that is enthusiastic and hard working with the ability to complete work with minimal supervision.</li>\n <li>High degree of interpersonal skills with excellent written and oral communication skills is required.</li>\n <li>Must possess the personal discipline to establish the proper image as a representative of Blanchard with the ability to meet and work with the customer in a professional manner.</li>\n <li>Strong problem-solving skills and detailed oriented with a high level of accuracy.</li>\n <li>Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Working Conditions</u></strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>The physical environment requires the employee to work primarily outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.</li>\n <li>Be able to work nights and weekends as needed, possibly for extended times.</li>\n <li>Required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to injury and/or hazardous materials.</li>\n <li>Physical use of a broad variety of tools and machines to maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment.</li>\n <li>Position may require employees to be physically present at designated worksite locations.</li>\n <li>Must be able to lift varied weights in a safe manner.  </li>\n <li>Requires standing, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, twisting, turning, lifting.</li>\n <li>Seeing, reading, and writing to complete job responsibilities.</li>\n <li>Use of computers and other forms of technology to complete job responsibilities.</li>\n</ul>",
