The program focuses on mental health and substance abuse treatment, offering a structured environment that combines clinical therapy, education, and enrichment activities. Youth receive individualized treatment based on their needs, participating in individual, group, and family therapy, as well as life skills training, restorative justice practices, victim impact awareness, and pre-vocational preparation. Licensed professionals provide 24/7 care in small group living units, and a licensed dietitian oversees nutritional support to promote stabilization and successful reintegration into the community.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Youth typically remain in care for <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">3 to 6 months</span> for intensive mental health services (or <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">30 to 60 days</span> for sub-acute psychiatric treatment), participating in individual, family, and group therapy; social and life skills training; victim-impact awareness; restorative justice programming; and pre-vocational preparation. You will collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure each youth receives individualized, holistic care that promotes both physical and emotional well-being.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Administer prescribed medications and ensure accurate documentation</li>\n<li>Triage illness and injuries each shift, determine medical priority, and treat within scope of practice</li>\n<li>Monitor and document vital signs, medical progress, and health outcomes</li>\n<li>Conduct required health screenings and maintain immunization compliance</li>\n<li>Educate youth and staff on health topics, including universal precautions and communicable disease prevention</li>\n<li>Provide or coordinate CPR, first aid, and other medical training for staff as required</li>\n<li>Maintain controlled drug records and complete shift-to-shift medication counts</li>\n<li>Monitor and replenish health/first aid supplies, including AED and emergency kits</li>\n<li>Participate in treatment team meetings to support interdisciplinary care planning</li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and state healthcare regulations</li>\n<li>Perform other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Active and unrestricted RN license in the State of Florida</li>\n<li>At least 2 years of professional nursing experience</li>\n<li>CPR certification</li>\n<li>Ability to pass background check and drug screening</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience working with youth in residential, behavioral health, or correctional settings</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical Demands</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be in good physical health and emotionally stable</li>\n<li>Able to actively engage with youth, participate in physical interventions, and transport youth or staff as needed</li>\n<li>Must be free of communicable diseases as defined by the state</li>\n<li>Must pass evaluation of physical techniques and certification exams<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Other Requirements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Valid state driver’s license</li>\n<li>Must meet state criminal background check requirements</li>\n<li>Flexibility to work variable hours as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Apply Today</span></p>\n<p>Make a difference with us.
