    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Job Description</span></p>\n<p><a href=\"https://sdfair.bamboohr.com/hiring/jobs/edit/182\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"></a><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Overview</span><br></p>\n<p><span>This position performs a variety of janitorial services to ensure a safe and clean environment to various areas of the facility.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains offices, breakrooms, buildings, restrooms, eating areas, and other common areas.</span></li>\n<li><span>Dusts, cleans, and sanitizes counters, doorknobs, light switches, furniture, handrails, etc.</span></li>\n<li><span>Vacuums, cleans, and shampoos carpets, rugs, upholstered furniture, draperies, etc.</span></li>\n<li><span>Sweeps, mops, sanitizes, scrubs, waxes, and buffs floors.</span></li>\n<li><span>Gathers and disposes waste materials and trash properly in disposal area, replaces liners, and cleans receptacles as necessary.</span></li>\n<li><span>Restocks supplies in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.</span></li>\n<li><span>Maintains janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, organized condition.</span></li>\n<li><span>Uses standard methods, practices, tools, and equipment to complete tasks.</span></li>\n<li><span>Uses various cleaning and sanitizing tools and equipment by following occupational hazard prevention and safety rules.</span></li>\n<li><span>Secures potentially hazardous areas (e.g., wet floor, leaking ceiling) using signs, caution tape, or barricades.</span></li>\n<li><span>Wears proper personal protective equipment (e.g., gloves, googles) and always works in a safe work environment.</span></li>\n<li><span>Performs other related duties as assigned or requested when needed.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Knowledge of general cleaning.</span></li>\n<li><span>Follows oral and written instructions.</span></li>\n<li><span>Excellent customer service and ability to work cooperatively with team members and others.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Working Conditions</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work is performed indoors and outdoors.</li>\n<li>Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risk that require following basic safety precautions.</li>\n<li>Expose to dust, dirt, fumes, chemicals, and unpleasant odors.</li>\n<li>Stands, walks, and/or moves for sustained periods.</li>\n<li>Moves objects at least 75 pounds.</li>\n<li>Works a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary.</li>\n</ul>",
