With modern mixers, pumpers, and reliable delivery services, we provide efficient and dependable support across the province while maintaining a strong commitment to quality, service, and operational excellence.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are looking to hire <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">a Heavy Equipment Operator,</span> to be based in Slave Lake, AB.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure safe work operations and full compliance to operating procedures.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Receive directions from site foreman regarding day-to-day operations and tasks.</li>\n<li>Operate loader in a safe manner as per OEM recommendations.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Pre &amp; post inspection checks of the equipment.</li>\n<li>Maintain accurate records in equipment log.</li>\n<li>Assist with fueling equipment and maintaining all fluid levels to required specifications.</li>\n<li>Ensure fuel and fluid quantities are accurately recorded in the inspection log.</li>\n<li>Assist in the maintenance works of the equipment.</li>\n<li>Maintain good housekeeping practices at worksites and on equipment.</li>\n<li>Prepare and submit required daily reports.</li>\n<li>Perform other functions such as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Skills:</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven experience in loading Gravel trucks is required</li>\n<li>Experience operating a Wheel Loader is a must.</li>\n<li>Early morning start is a must.</li>\n<li>Arrive early and be ready for work.</li>\n<li>Ability to multi task is a must, as this position is fast paced and time sensitive to keep gravel trucks on delivery schedule.</li>\n<li>Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays when required.</li>\n<li>Ability to work overtime, as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> LaPrairie Works Inc. provides Industry-leading compensation and benefits, professional training, and development opportunities and all within a supportive, dynamic, and proactive work environment.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Interested candidates are invited to submit their application, including a resume and cover letter.
