East West Bank gives people the confidence to reach further.</p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Mortgage Support Manager plays a critical role in supporting Mortgage Loan Originators (MLOs) by identifying solutions to complex loan scenarios and resolving issues that hinder loan progression. This role is also responsible for overseeing and administering the organization's Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) licensing and registration program incompliance with the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing (SAFE) Act, NMLS requirements, and applicable federal and state regulations.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Serve as a dedicated escalation and resolution point for MLOs facing challenges instructuring or progressing mortgage loans.</li>\n <li>Manage all aspects of MLO licensing and registration through the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS).</li>\n <li>Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities related to MLO licensing,sponsorships, and regulatory filings.</li>\n <li>Monitor and maintain active licenses, renewals, continuing educationrequirements, and annual attestations.</li>\n <li>Track regulatory changes impacting SAFE Act and MLO licensing requirements andcommunicate updates to management and affected employees.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.</li>\n <li>3+years of experience in mortgage licensing, compliance, banking operations, orfinancial services administration.</li>\n <li>Proven ability to solve problems creatively in a regulated environment.</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of SAFE Act requirements, NMLS processes, and mortgageregulatory compliance.</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally with internalteams.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience in a support role for mortgage sales or operation teams.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with Encompass loan origination systems.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
