    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>We are looking for an experienced Closure System Engineer responsible for the design, development, validation, and release of automotive closure components and systems. The role involves cross-functional coordination with design, vehicle integration, suppliers, manufacturing, validation, and program teams to ensure product quality, performance, timing, regulatory compliance, and cost targets are achieved.</p>\n<p>The candidate should possess strong expertise in closure systems development, feasibility studies, supplier coordination, engineering change management, and production release activities in a PLM-driven automotive environment.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead engineering development activities for closure systems and components across vehicle programs.</li>\n <li>Ensure closure component/system development aligns with quality, cost, weight, timing, and performance objectives.</li>\n <li>Coordinate with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders for collaborative engineering activities.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with homologation, regulatory, and internal engineering standards.</li>\n <li>Support design release, engineering documentation, validation planning, and technical sign-offs.</li>\n <li>Execute robust and cost-effective engineering solutions ensuring successful program launches.</li>\n <li>Drive standardization, benchmarking, lessons learned, harmonization, and best practice implementation.</li>\n <li>Support supplier development activities, technical reviews, capability assessments, and issue resolution.</li>\n <li>Coordinate with design studio and vehicle integration teams for milestone achievement and packaging feasibility.</li>\n <li>Lead root-cause analysis and support corrective actions during development and build phases.</li>\n <li>Support product diversity definition and value optimization activities.</li>\n <li>Develop and maintain source packages, technical documentation, and engineering deliverables.</li>\n <li>Support development of technical roadmaps, training materials, and engineering policies.</li>\n <li>Ensure adherence to internal control systems, engineering processes, and PLM workflows.</li>\n <li> </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Automobile / Production Engineering or related discipline</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Essential skills</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong experience in automotive Closure Systems development.</li>\n <li>Hands-on experience in concept design and feasibility studies for:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Side Doors</li>\n   <li>Hoods</li>\n   <li>Fenders</li>\n   <li>Liftgates / Tailgates</li>\n   <li>Door Hardware</li>\n   <li>Sealing Systems</li>\n   <li>Door Modules</li>\n   <li>Manual Tops</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Experience conducting technical reviews with suppliers for:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Glass systems</li>\n   <li>Window regulators</li>\n   <li>Door modules</li>\n   <li>Tops</li>\n   <li>Sealing systems</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Experience coordinating with Design Studio and Vehicle Integration teams.</li>\n <li>Strong exposure to engineering release processes in production environments.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in UG NX and/or CATIA.</li>\n <li>Experience working with Teamcenter / PLM systems.</li>\n <li> </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Desired skills</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Exposure to weight optimization and cost reduction initiatives.</li>\n <li>Experience in validation planning and technical documentation sign-off.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of automotive build support and launch activities.</li>\n <li>Understanding of automotive quality systems and engineering change management.</li>\n <li> </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Experience</h2>\n<p>6 to 8 years</p>",
