They will direct the patient and the caregiver as outlined in the treatment plan in collaboration with a Physical Therapist to restore, reinforce and/or enhance performance.</p>\n<h1>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</h1>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide clinical treatment to patients as directed by PT supervisor.</li>\n <li>Consult with supervisor on patient progress and maintains appropriate records.</li>\n <li>Coordinate patient care with office staff and other disciplines.</li>\n <li>Maintain appropriate communication with PT supervisor regarding progress, problems, home programs, and other issues related to the therapeutic process.</li>\n <li>Maintain and complete appropriate documentation in a timely manner.</li>\n <li>Maintain adequate caseload with appropriate productivity.</li>\n <li>Attend Continuing Education activities and expand scope of service.</li>\n <li>Responsible for the maintenance of supplies and equipment.</li>\n <li>Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve company and departmental goals.</li>\n <li>Serve as the backup service provider for other caseloads as needed.</li>\n <li>Comply with all company policies, practices, and procedures.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<h1>Education and Work Experience Requirements</h1>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate’s degree as a Certified Physical Therapy Assistant.</li>\n <li>Current state-issued professional licensure.</li>\n <li>Valid state driver license.</li>\n <li>CPR certified.</li>\n <li>Pediatric clinical experience preferred.</li>\n <li>Home health experience preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<h1>Other Qualifications and Skills</h1>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to read and write in simple correspondence with effective public speaking in small groups.</li>\n <li>Excellent critical thinking and critical thinking skills.</li>\n <li>Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to interpret instruction with the ability to solve practical problems with a variety of concrete variables.</li>\n <li>Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite, record keeping and routine database activity.</li>\n <li>Manage multiple tasks simultaneously.</li>\n</ul>\n<h1>Physical Demands/Working Environment</h1>\n<ul>\n <li>Spends one-third to two-thirds of time in standing, walking, reaching sitting kneeling, and crawling</li>\n <li>Over two-thirds of time is spent using hands, fingers, and will handle, feel, talk, and</li>\n <li>Diverse indoor residential or childcare</li>\n <li>Moderate physical activity performing strenuous activities of a therapy</li>\n <li>Must be able to lift a minimum of twenty-five</li>\n <li>Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision</li>\n <li>Moderate noise (i.e., business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic).</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p>",
