Hennick Humber Hospital. Tomorrow's Healthcare, Today.
Since opening our doors in 2015 as North America’s first fully digital hospital, we remain unwavering in our belief that we can change the hospital where we work, the community where we live, and the world of healthcare beyond our borders. We make technology work for staff and physicians; giving them more time to spend with patients, to eliminate inefficiencies, and to reduce the chance of errors. We are currently looking for a Summer Student to provide general support to our Mental Health & Addiction Program.
Employment Status: Temporary Full Time Duration: August 2026 Hours of Work: Day shifts from Monday to Friday, occasional evenings and/or weekends may be required - subject to change as per Management Rights Location: Humber River Health, Hennick Humber Hospital - Wilson site (onsite) Labour Group: Non Union
Hourly Rate: $20.00 Reporting Relationship: Program Director, Mental Health & Addictions
The Summer Student will assist with:
Support duties and provide backfill support to the Program Assistants
Provide meeting / minute / calendar support during periods of vacancy or vacation backfill
Front desk assignment and support
Administrative tasks associated with the leadership team
Reporting any problems or concerns to the Program Directors
Special project related responsibilities as requested
Qualifications:
Must be actively enrolled in post-secondary education.
Previous experience in administrative or customer service support required.
Candidates from the North West Toronto community are especially encouraged to apply, preference will be given to local residents.
Intermediate/proficient computer skills - Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Superior organizational skills and detail-oriented.
Able to work independently and as a member of a team.
Ability to multitask competing priorities
Ability to prioritize work in a fast paced, service-oriented environment
Excellent time management and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
