As part of our dynamic team, you can lead the way, as we continue our journey towards high reliability care!</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We are currently looking for a <strong>Summer Student</strong> to provide general support to our Mental Health & Addiction Program.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Employment Status: </strong>Temporary Full Time<strong>Duration:</strong> August 2026 <strong>Hours of Work: </strong>Day shifts from Monday to Friday, occasional evenings and/or weekends may be required - subject to change as per Management Rights<strong>Location: </strong>Humber River Health, Hennick Humber Hospital - Wilson site (onsite)<strong>Labour Group: </strong>Non Union</p>\n<p><strong>Hourly Rate:</strong> $20.00<strong>Reporting Relationship: </strong>Program Director, Mental Health & Addictions </p>\n<p><strong>The Summer Student will assist with:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Support duties and provide backfill support to the Program Assistants </li>\n <li>Provide meeting / minute / calendar support during periods of vacancy or vacation backfill</li>\n <li>Front desk assignment and support</li>\n <li>Administrative tasks associated with the leadership team</li>\n <li>Reporting any problems or concerns to the Program Directors</li>\n <li>Special project related responsibilities as requested</li>\n</ul>\n<p> <strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be actively enrolled in post-secondary education.</li>\n <li>Previous experience in administrative or customer service support required.</li>\n <li>Candidates from the North West Toronto community are especially encouraged to apply, preference will be given to local residents.</li>\n <li>Intermediate/proficient computer skills - Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).</li>\n <li>Excellent oral and written communication skills.</li>\n <li>Excellent customer service skills.</li>\n <li>Superior organizational skills and detail-oriented. </li>\n <li>Able to work independently and as a member of a team.</li>\n <li>Ability to multitask competing priorities</li>\n <li>Ability to prioritize work in a fast paced, service-oriented environment</li>\n <li>Excellent time management and organizational skills with high attention to detail.</li>\n <li>An understanding of equity, diversity, and inclusion principles as they relate to health practices is an asset.
