A Tele Charge Registered Nurse oversees nursing operations on our telemetry unit, coordinating staff assignments, managing patient care, and ensuring continuous cardiac monitoring is safely conducted. They serve as both a clinical expert and team leader, handling emergencies, facilitating communication, and supporting both patients and staff. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Staff Coordination:</strong> assign nursing staff to patients based on patient acuity, nurse experience, and current workload </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Unit Supervision</strong>: monitor overall operations of the telemetry unit during the shift, ensuring workflow efficiency and patient safety </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Direct Patient Care:</strong> provide hands-on care for high-acuity or deteriorating patients when needed, including administering medications and treatments </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Telemetry Monitoring</strong>: interpret cardiac telemetry strips, identifies arrhythmias, and initiates appropriate interventions or escalations </li>\n <li><strong>Problem-Solving:</strong> act as the go-to person for clinical issues, staff concerns, or resource shortages during the shift </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Education and Work Experience</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Current and valid state RN License</li>\n <li>Current BCLS (AHA) upon hire and maintained current.</li>\n <li>Current ACLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintained current.</li>\n <li>Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#LI-DV1</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Employment Status</h2>Part Time < 60\n<h2>Shift</h2>Days\n<h2>Equal Employment Opportunity</h2>\n<p>Company is an equal employment opportunity employer.
