In this hands-on role, you’ll measure door openings, observe field work for quality and compliance, and help ensure accurate, timely installations. Working closely with our VP of Field Operations, you’ll play a vital role in bridging field and office operations, gaining exposure to all aspects of project execution.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities and Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong></p>\n<li><strong>Administrative & Office Coordination </strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordinate various office tasks such as data entry, answering phones, emails, and filing</li>\n <li>Provide administrative support and work closely with VP of Field Operations</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<li><strong>Field Operations </strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Install lockers, toilet partitions, accessories, shelving systems, and related products according to plans and specifications</li>\n <li>Maintains a set of marked-up record drawings for construction projects</li>\n <li>Observes work in progress to determine if procedures and materials comply with plans and specifications</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<li><strong>Repair & Record Management</strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Schedule repair work orders</li>\n <li>Maintain accurate records for easy reference and reporting</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<li><strong>Safety   </strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment</li>\n <li>Follow all safety protocols and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements to maintain a safe working environment</li>\n <li>Use proper lifting techniques</li>\n <li>Adhere to all driving regulations based on state and/or jurisdiction policies such as wearing a seatbelt</li>\n <li>Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes and clothing</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<li><strong>Physical Requirements </strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Frequent use of hands and arms for equipment operation, grasping and manipulation </li>\n <li>Frequent driving or sitting in a truck, forklift or other similar equipment for multiple hours a day</li>\n <li>Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying building materials weighing approximately 100 pounds, using proper lifting procedures; and occasionally pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying greater weights.  Pushing and pulling carts loaded carts over various distances and surfaces.  Some functions may be performed as a team</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Additional physical requirements may be needed as duties are assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<li><strong>Miscellaneous </strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Support our values in the stated areas of Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Integrity and being a Company of Choice for both employees and customers</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Valid drivers license required.</li>\n <li>Travel throughout West and Northern Michigan as required. Some projects require overnight stays. When overnight travel is needed, the company provides hotel accommodations and a per diem.</li>\n <li>Good knowledge of construction methods and procedures</li>\n <li>Self-starter with excellent communication and customer service skills</li>\n <li>Follow established safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe and clean environment</li>\n <li>Good time management skills, professional dress, and behavior</li>\n <li>Proficient in mS Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)</li>\n <li>Knowledge of Hollow Metal Door and Frame experience a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Compensation and Benefits</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Reports To</u></strong></p>\n<p>Sales Manager</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong><u>Compensation </u></strong></p>\n<p>The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and cost of living in the assigned market.
