This role will also support medical care services coordination, clear pharmaceutical communication with providers and families, and medical education to help ensure safe, informed treatment planning.</p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Aptos\",sans-serif;'><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><div style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Aptos\",sans-serif;'><ul style=\"margin-bottom:0in;list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family: initial;\">Build and maintain referral relationships with hospitals, schools, community agencies, and behavioral health partners.</li><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family: initial;\">Respond to referral inquiries, request and review clinical information, and determine initial medical necessity eligibility.</li><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family: initial;\">Coordinate referral, admission, transition, and discharge processes across program sites.</li><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family: initial;\">Enter and track referral, insurance, and authorization information in the EHR and related systems.</li><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family: initial;\">Communicate referral and admission status with clinical leaders, psychiatrists, therapists, principals, and families.</li><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family: initial;\">Support medical care services by coordinating case information, medical necessity details, and treatment access needs.</li><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family: initial;\">Facilitate pharmaceutical communication with prescribing providers, treatment teams, and families regarding medication-related information.</li><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family: initial;\">Provide medical education and guidance to families and referral partners to support informed participation in care.</li></ul></div><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Aptos\",sans-serif;'><strong>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities:</strong></p><div style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Aptos\",sans-serif;'><ul style=\"margin-bottom:0in;list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family: initial;\">Proficiency in EHR systems, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and virtual meeting platforms preferred.</li><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family: initial;\">Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.</li><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family: initial;\">Knowledge of referral, admission, insurance authorization, medical terminology, and discharge workflows.</li><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family: initial;\">Ability to summarize medical necessity and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.</li><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family: initial;\">Understanding of medical care services, pharmaceutical/insurance communication, and family-facing medical education.</li><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family: initial;\">Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced clinical environments.</li><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family: initial;\">Able and willing to travel locally 2-3 times/week.</li></ul></div><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Aptos\",sans-serif;'><strong>Education &amp; Experience Requirements:</strong></p><ul style=\"margin-bottom:0in;margin-top:0in;\" type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family: initial;\"><strong><span style='font-family:\"Times New Roman\";'>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in nursing, psychology, social work, or related mental health and/or medical services field</span></strong><span style='font-family:\"Times New Roman\";'>.</span></li><li style=\"margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family: initial;\"><span style='font-family:\"Times New Roman\";'>Minimum of <strong>one year of experience</strong> (internship experience will be considered).</span></li></ul><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Aptos\",sans-serif;'><strong>Schedule:&nbsp;</strong>Flexible Hybrid</p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Aptos\",sans-serif;'><br></p><p style='margin:0in;line-height:115%;font-size:15px;font-family:\"Arial\",sans-serif;margin-top:12.0pt;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:12.0pt;margin-left:0in;text-align:center;' id=\"isPasted\"><span style=\"font-size:16px;\">#PursueExcellence</span></p></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
